Was your baby born premature? If they sent him home with an antibiotic, they believe that it more than a cold also. It sounds to me that you may need to change pediatricians. Sometimes just getting a second opinion is a good thing. Remember, just because someone has MD behind their name doesn't mean that they are a good doctor. You have the right to question and to continue to seek answers.

Poor baby. Keep on asking questions. My 15 month old was wheezing and we couldn't get satisfaction until I took him to a Pulmonary specialist a Pediatric Pulmonologist. Finally, he got taken care of. So don't quit until you are satisfied.

Good Luck

Certainly it wouldn't hurt to test for mold.

Find another pediatrician if the one you have now doesn't have an interest in helping your baby. That's WAY too long to be sick!

In fact, you might even want to take him to St. Jude's, or a similar facility.

Good luck, Honey!

i may be paranoid too! i might say that's proper to maintain your newborn faraway from the different little ones that are ill. toddlers are greater probable to fall unwell simply by weaker immune structures. additionally i might spray some disinfectent (Lysol) the place ever the different young little ones have been whilst they left (i.e. swing, bassinet). solid success!

could be a mold issue. He might be allergic to mold. I would buy a mold test from home depot and test your house.
