ive been using my albuterol inhaler almost every day for 2 years its only thing i have for my asthma i know i need something to get it under control and not just a rescue inhaler.i havnt had a problem it always helped once i used it..but about 6 weeks ago i started getting tightness in my chest a little bit after the tightness went away i wasnt wheezing or having any breathing problems for like 3 weeks which is the longest ive gone without any problem in 2 years..then i started wheezing again and have some problems so i started using my inhaler again now about 2 weeks after using it again i have tightness in my chest again.sometimes i might use it more then i should but i have no alternative right now its all i got with no insurance i cant get anything right now to get it under control so is it at all possible that the albuterol inhaler is causing the tightness in my chest i havtn used it in 2 days since an attack i had and i got the tightness still

Not drowning, but just suffocating. Like if they're having trouble breathing or something.

I've tried and there is no way to get her to stop, her boyfriend smokes too. I can't afford to move out and I had to chase my dog today when her leash broke. I thought I was dying. I couldn't breathe for almost two minutes, my chest and heart hurt and I felt like throwing up. I couldn't stop coughing. I think it's because of second hand smoke. How can I avoid it? Thanks!

For some reason lately when I first wake up in the morning, I get out of breath extremely easily. For instance, if I stretch while holding my breath, I find myself feeling very "out of breath" and oxygen-deprived, and having to breathe in and out deeply to get oxygen. Same thing happens when I get out of bed, going from lying on my bed to standing up. I don't remember this happening at all earlier in my life. It started around the beginning of this school year, or last summer, I'm not quite sure. I have bad allergies, but I don't think it's asthma, because with asthma I thought it was hard to breathe. But I can breathe easily, it's just that I seem to have a hard time getting oxygen out the air I breathe. It's almost like I'm trying to breathe pure carbon dioxide or something: no oxygen there. This disappears after about 3-5 minutes of being awake, and I am totally fine for the rest of the day. Is this normal, or should I worry? I am a 14 year old male.

My friend has this problem, also she says some electric machines won't work properly when she tries to operate them. She has problems when using a computer or printer as sometimes they work for a while then just stop or go haywire. She is not a stupid or awkward type of person and has been supervised by other users.

i went ot the dr today and he said it was just a random virus or whatever, and not like pnuemonia or anything, and he gave me prescription cough syrup that has codeine in it and i think some other stuff too but i don't know what. only i'm still coughing a lot, like as in most of the time there's not even a whole minute between when i stop coughing and when i start again.

i took 2 tsp of the prescrition stuff, which said to take 1.5 to 2 tsp, and it didn't help at all. yesterday i took 3 tsp of robitussin (it says to take 2 tsp) and that didn't help either. can i take another tsp of the prescription one? can i take both at once? what else can i do?

i went to the dr today and he gave me cough medicine that has codeine in it, which i know ppl get high from, but i don't know if there's other stuff in it that would make me sick if i took a bunch of it at once. how can i find out what else is in it?

and would it help my cough go away if i took more of it, cause my dr said to take 2 tsp but i did and i'm still coughing like about every 1-2 minutes, and if i took another teaspoon would it be safe and would it help?

Pretty much every night for the past week, I've been having trouble breathing. And I have a little pressure on my chest. And it's kind of weird that it only happens at night, like 4-6 hours before I go to bed. Why do you think this is happening? What should I do?

Hello, I just got a second CT scanning with the result of airway disease as cause for mosaic perfusion.

Please tell me what you know about it, as of:

how dangerous it is?
survival?
possible treatment.

If you don't mind please give me only your opinion. some people just give a very complicated website that is very hard to figure it out.

thank you very much

I have asthma and my current medicine is not working. I have albuterol inhaler, albuterol liquid that goes in a nebulizer and advair inhaler. none of these things are working for me anymore. I take about 4-5 breathing treatment a day and I use my fast acting inhaler about 10-15 times a day. it seems that when I goto the doctor and tell them there not working they come up with a new way for me to try to take the medicine. the only thing that works is Cortisone which is a steroid. I don't know why they find it so hard to accept that the traditional asthma medicine does not work for me. I need Cortisone! does anyone know another medicine I can try as I'm about to look for international sources for the medicine.
