Freon is non-toxic non flammable gas.Many years ago some people demonstrated by inhale full lung of this gas and blow to a candle flame and put the flame away.this person showed no harm.Only later people found out that this gas endanger the ozone layer.

if you inhale the freon from air conditioner it will cause to suffocation.
