Pretty much every night for the past week, I've been having trouble breathing. And I have a little pressure on my chest. And it's kind of weird that it only happens at night, like 4-6 hours before I go to bed. Why do you think this is happening? What should I do?

Just the same thing happens to me pretty often. It is the stress. I went to see a cardiologist last week, and he said that my heart was fine. He made me wear a device that recorded my heart's activity for 24 hours. Tomorrow I have to go and get the results.
Anyway, it happened in the past, also, and all four cardiologists that I saw found that there was nothing wrong with my heart.

It can be an age affect, usually for 45+ ladies.
Do you have big dinners? or late dinners? that can affect it for sure. If so, eat a very little dinner and eat it at least 3 hours before you go to bed. No snaks after dinner, not even fruits, but vegtables are ok.
If not, next time try to take a short walk before bed. If the problem still continues, do not let it to get serious. See a doctor, ENT if possible. Good luck and feel better soon

it's pretty unlikely, especially since you said it only happens at night, but pressure on the chest is a symptom of heart attack. go to the doctor sometime very soon! if it's not that (which it probably isn't... don't mean to scare you, sorry!) it could be asthma or allergies or something else that the doctor can help you with. but always better safe than sorry.

It sounds like something is happening to you at the moment, pressure on your chest can be a warning sign. Best thing is to get a full health check as soon as you can. All the best.

It sound like allergies. I had very comparable problems some months in the past, it replaced into extremely demanding to take a deep breath, and that i replaced into clinically determined with allergies. I have been given an inhaler to apply whilst the subject occurs and it extremely works directly to open up my airlines. See your wellbeing practitioner asap! allergies could be very extreme if no longer dealt with.

try lying in a different position at night so you can breathe better. and learn to relax.

go to a doctor for a chest x-ray anytime you feel pressure.

have your blood pressure and blood sugar levels checked.

Allergies maybe...there might be a tree or plant in your neighborhood that's causing it. If it gets serious and you hyperventilate, just calm down and have someone drive you to another part of town. If you are getting sick, inhale the steam of apple cider vinegar. It burns really bad, but it's VERY good for you and it works. ;)

I am sure no one, including myself are registered doctors, so i would not trust anyone's diagnostic. I would have to agree with people though, by saying GO TO A DOCTOR.
