I lived for 5 years in Michigan and my astma went out of control
in the winter times. Whenever I got a cold, even 2 weeks of medical leave were not enough and I had asthmatic bronchitists all winters despite a very heavy use of steriod inhailer (aerobid). However I had no problems in the summer there. I moved to Californiya 8 years ago and my astma is under full control with a small flovent dose. Now I am offered a very good job in Maryland. Would I have a chance to adjust there? May be someone had this experience? Thank you.

My g/f has asthma and I'm afraid that it will cause complications in our relationship. I love her will all my heart and I'm looking for ways to heal her deal with it. But I'm afraid that it's getting to the point that I'm scared of losing her. We have a long distance relationship (I'm a truck driver too) and her asthma is become more and more severe. I'm tired of the drama in this relationship but I feel that I'd look like an *** if I dumped her. What can I do?

Does anyone know the Name/type of test that a Doc did to me a few yrs ago to test my breathing out capacity. I saw Birthday Candles on Cake on computer-screen & i had to blow out those candles. I can't remember but there was probably SOMETHING else used in that test - that may have been hooked up to the computer----perhaps something i had to blow--out - in.

Due to being in college, I need a flexible schedule to be able to work somewhere. A family friend offered me a job working for her cleaning company, but I found out on my first day that I would be around ALOT of cigarette smoke. I have severe asthma that is very easily triggered by cigarette smoke. How do I quit that job after only one day and still retain the friendship?
