Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation is conducting a clinical research study for people with at least moderate persistent allergic asthma inadequately controlled with inhaled corticosteroids who are between the ages of 18 and 55 years old. Allergic asthma is when asthma occurs in patients who also have allergies. The purpose of the study is to find out if patients with asthma will tolerate immunotherapy (allergy shots) better if they receive omalizumab. The drug omalizumab is a new type of asthma medication called a monoclonal antibody, which treats asthma by blocking one of the chemicals in the body related to causing allergies and asthma. Omalizumab has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat asthma. Patients who are eligible to participate in this study, will receive either an injection of omalizumab or a placebo (inactive treatment) once every 2 to 4 weeks (depending on body weight).. Patients will have an equal chance of being treated with omalizumab or the placebo.
Trial phase: Phase 3
Participation Duration: 19 or 23 visits to the study doctor’s office over a 26 week period.
Protocol Number: CIGE025AUS23

I know a guy who described himself as a "professional asthmatic", 40 inhalers a day and couldn't walk more than 100 yards without suffering for it. He tried something new which is scientifically backed (it's already in the Physician's Desk Reference), and tens of thousands of scientific papers have been written about it - oh, and it is peer reviewed.
I think it was about 18 months after he started it when I met him, he had then just completed the London Marathon!
Drop me a message if you want to know more, I'll send you some information.
Best 'clinical trial' you will ever enter in to.

Caution - I'm sorry to tell you that there are no side-effects, so it's not scary or risky.

basically wait and spot with them. it may take a at an identical time as for guinea pigs to get used to people. i've got had my guinea pigs for sort of four months now and that they nevertheless run faraway from me and cover as quickly as I come into the room. If I take a seat nevertheless in there nonetheless, they're going to finally come out and be regularly occurring. I take mine out for some million/2 an hour to an hour for cuddles and that they get an hour or extra of grass time fantastically lots on a daily basis, so basically keep doing what you're doing, yet once you prefer to work out swifter progression of their behaviour, take them out for longer sessions of time and incorporate them on your on a daily basis habitual. they're called guinea PIGS for a reason! you could attempt to clutter prepare them in case you have the persistence for that. there are a number of web pages and YouTube movies which could teach you techniques on a thank you to try this. that could help cut back down on the mess. i've got basically come to the top that that's what they want of their cage, so basically enable them to do it. i will place their packing bins and hideys the way i want, yet here day, they have moved all of them and it rather is a pigsty in there. :D i don't comprehend approximately windex. i exploit vinegar to scrub my cages. it rather is organic and there is not any chemical compounds in it. I additionally in some circumstances use dishwashing detergent. yet whichever one i exploit, I determine I rinse it off rather properly, basically in case the piggies can get sick from it. Bedding is a private decision with guinea pigs, i've got discovered. i exploit fleece bedding and locate that it rather works rather properly for me, yet i comprehend guinea pig vendors that use wood shaving and CareFresh and all varieties of different stuff that they swear with the help of. you should objective Aspen shavings and spot if it makes a distinction on your cage. stable luck with each little thing!
