I inject vaccine into my dad's upper arm daily. My dad is a terminal lung and kidney cancer patient. Yesterday, he had an emergency because of shortness of breath. Usually he could breathe normally without the oxygen supply for about 5 minutes. Now, he feels exhausted without the supply even if it's for a short while.

Is it possibly because I injected some air when I injected the vaccine? I know that there's usually a bit of air in the syringe when I draw out the vaccine from its bottle. I would stop injecting right before the bubble enters.

Does the air still enter although I stop before right before the bubble enters?

How to avoid injecting air into the body?

And what ARE the effects of air being injected?

my wife uses a cpap machine but keeps taking it off because she says it freezes her lips. The heat is adjusted as high as it will go and it is set on 9 for airflow. I think the flow is too high and the cold is caused by windchill. any suggestions.

I washed some rice two days ago and realized I washed too much so I removed a cup of it and set it aside. I was going to cook it today but made something else so a few minutes ago, I was wondering if the damp rice is still good so I stuck my head down near the rice and took a deep breath-to smell it but -to my surprise some rice grains went up in my nostrils. Now I don't think they all came out. So what shall I do? Will the rice swell while I'm sleeping? Should I go to the hospital emergency? Will it just work its way out while I sleep? I've tried blowing and using a suction thing but nothing works. Are an adults nostrils big enough that this is no big deal? This is a serious question. TY

ok i had asked a question about this the other day but i was just wondering if you have had it before how bad the muscular aches were. did an arm or leg go numb? Also, how weak did you tend to get. I can barely lift my left leg. Please help. I'm not sure if I have Mono or not but I might and I cant put up with the pain.

I had severe asthma, esp. in the summer time. I don't have any medical care, and thus, cannot afford medication. I had at least two asthma attacks a day, but have a little medicine from a relative. I take albuterol. I know it's not good to take albuterol inhalers too much. I used to be on Advair a long time ago, and it worked great at preventing attacks, but I can no longer afford it. Also, I don't really like taking steroids anyway. Does anyone know of any non-medicinal ways to prevent an attack or treat one?
