How did you quit smoking?

I smoke and have since I was in the 4th grade and no I am not proud of that and no I have not quit. I don't have the will power I guess, wish I did. If I get close to running out then I get real ancy and am worried I'll run out before I can get to the store to get more. I hate that I am that way. I really wish you lots and lots of luck quitting. I smoke a half pack a day and have smoked for 30 years. I have not quit but know that I need to.

I smoke. I've quit a few times, cold turkey each time, the only times it's difficult to stick with it is during times of high stress or while drinking.

Well i tried to give up last year, i was doing really well on patches until i got really drunk and fell of the wagon!!! So my advice to you is, use patches avoid the booze, run off and find a convent and live like a nun for the rest of your life. Hey your life maybe boring but hey your live a dam sight longer!!!! Good luck

I SMOKED 2 PACKS A DAY. WHEN I BECAME PREGNANT WITH OUR FIRST CHILD, THE SMELL TURNED MY STOMACH AND THAT WAS THE END OF MY SMOKING, EVEN NOW, 12 YEARS LATER AND NOT SMOKING.

i did ,got pneumonia was in intensive care for a week , after that it was easy, never touched another one ,now i have copd brought on by smoking
