My kidney will not stop spasming. It has been going for 48 hours now and it's really beginning to annoy me. There's no pain, I just feel a constant thump. I had a CT a few weeks ago that showed 11 kidney stones (5 in one, 6 in the other). I've had dozens of stones in my life, but never have I had spasms this intense and this long. Are the spasms because of the stones? Could one be stuck and not be causing pain? Any help is appreciated!

Our 5 year old has has surgery done a year ago for a swollen lymph node that never went away after it appeared a year prior to the surgery. He had that one removed and biopsied and it was benign. Our daughter also had the same surgery and it was benign a year before him. Now he still gets swollen lymph nodes he is healthy but the dr thinks b/c he is skinny thats why they are more apparent. He decided to go ahead and have our son see the surgeon again to see what he thinks. He doesnt go until feb of next year. I would like a test ran but in ordfer to do that I have to have a 2nd opinion. So he sees an pediatrician tomorrow and hopefully I can get some imaging test done to find out what is going on. My husband is starting a new job at the beginning of the year but was afraid if he needed surgery we wouldnt have insurance due to the probation period. I dont want to wait I have asked to push the dr visit sooner but he is full. Am I wrong for making this decision w/ o my husband?

I am suffering with intestinal pain around my left lower bely for long years. I feel that there is something that blocked the free passage of food in that particular location(lower left bely). The pain is sever when I go to bed and awakens me in the middle of the night about 4:00AM. It always vomits me. But I couldn't n convince my doctors that there is something that blocked the free passage of waste about the location where my appendix is located. Is there any medical equipment that could show problems of partial obstractions in the intestine? please help I have suffered enough of that. Thanks

If you have a kidney spleen infection what will happen? I know you'll be in the hospital for a few days, cuz this girl I know has it, but what happens with it? Do you have to have surgery or do they just medicate you or what?

For about 8 or 9 weeks now i've been having constant kidney pains in my loin area. now i am also getting flank pains. my urine is cloudy, i've been on 4 different types of antibiotics and none of them have seemed to work. i have also done 4 urine tests - the first 2 showed i had a kidney infection, and the last 2 showed i haven't got a kidney infection. i have little appetite, i'm tired, always cold and i always feel nautious. i am stressing out a lot more, so i don't know whether this has anything to do with the pains? the flank pains feel as if i've pulled a muscle and are only a bit tender at the moment, so i'm not sure whether this has anything to do with my kidneys? the pain is from the bottom of my ribs to just above my hip (at the sides of the kidneys obviously). but it is just giving me really bad lower backache and it doesn't hurt when i wee. if the tests have shown that there is no infection there, could these pains just be because i'm just getting over a kidney infection?

I'm 18 years old and I'm in grade 12. This is my last year of high school.

My CP doesn't affect me enormously, I live an active life style. I'm doing well in school, I'm not a straight A student however my marks are good.

Do you think the army would accept a male with a mild case of CP ? I'm not overweight and I do not have any muscle spasms. I'm well built and healthy.

The headache is accompanied by nausea and I always feel like I'm gonna have diarrhea but never actually have it. What could be the matter? I have the headache as soon as I wake up and it lasts the whole day. It's not an accute one but dull and constant. The backs of my thighs and calves also get sore, like when you have really bad diarrhoea.

Earlier tonight I experienced a very strange, sudden wave of confusion which was followed by a ringing in my ears. I've also noticed that my lip is somewhat bitten . I'm pretty sure I was conscious the whole time and I am 100% sure I took my meds.

This is not my usual 'aura' (feeling I get before a seizure) and I've had 4 tonic-clonic / grand mal seizures starting last August.

Also, if I experience my 'aura' and I don't have a gran mal, does it mean I had a petit mal or just what does it mean?

Any advice is GREATLY apreciated. Thanks.

My aunt was a young, healthy adult admitted to the hospital for a routine procedure, six weeks later she had passed. there was a lot of descrepancy regarding her care and also the events leading to her death. in one example; she was infected with a rare disease which spread through her entire body. the origin of infection was found to be her spine, shortly following a spinal tap performed by the hospital against my family's instruction. no autopsy was performed, at the time my grandmother was upset and did not request one. her body was cremated and i was wondering if there was any possiblity of investigating this further, despite this obstacle.

i suddenly lost a very little amount of my hearing 2 years ago. and my hearing has not changed since. Now, i can hear normal, pass audiology tests (3 times in 2 years), it's just feel funny to talk, and my affected right ear feels stuffed. but i hear fine, close to perfect. is there a risk of it deteriorating any further? i don;t listen to music, as i ipods. and i don;t really get exposed to loud sounds. I'm 15. is this a disease or what?
thanks

This is really embarrassing but, after every meal except for my cereal for breakfast, I get really gassy almost like i took a laxitive then not even 10mins after eating, i get uncontrollable, extremely foul smelling flatulence that not even beano can control. It doesnt matter what I eat, the only thing that works is not eating. I would go to the doctors but I dont have insurance. I dont know what to do. :(
