im doing a presentation on psychopharmacology and how antidepressants have nasty side effects, including increasing suicidal thoughts and actions.

yes i was on ratio-citalopram it just made my condition worse and i started cutting as well

Yes, this can happen in a lot adolescents and young adults taking antidepressants. It may increase the risk for suicidal thoughts and behavior within the first few months of treatment. I was reading about the study they did with people, etc. 10% of the participants, who had no prior history of depression, became dangerously suicidal while on Zoloft. So, I would say go back to the doctor, I'm sure he will try her on something else. There are a number of different types of antidepressants on the market. Just finding the right one is the key.

Several years ago. The doctor was a true quack and totally prescribed it wrong. Had me going two in six hours of each other and none for 18 hours. Should have been one every twelve.

Try the FDA. That kind on info should be included in the Labeling. Also go to the drug store and talk to the pharmacists.
