he is fed on the best wheat and pellets and has fresh water daily but my god does he reek!!!

Try using a warm soapy bath every morning before he gets up and struts his stuff!

Make sure the birds are clean as well!

Get him out of his home and give him a good wash. Maybe even get someone to help if he's very big or badly behaved. Be gentle with him though. If he spits at you, chances are he's not pissed off; on the contrary, it's his sign of affection. When you've washed him, pat him dry with a tissue and stroke his fur. Make sure to dry the fur around his head especially well.

Try a bit of mixed corn as a treat, or rub him briskly up and down under a stream of fast flowing water.

I suggest your rooster be giving free range. If that doesn't help he might make a good Christmas dinner.

Perhaps he needs a good wash, maybe you should hire one of those specialised cleaners round, that should do the trick.

foul do stink horrible dont they, i used to hate cleaning my dads chickens it stunk. you might want to get him some cockodourant even better there alot better than turkey for christmas dinner, thet dont dry out like turkey. Mmm
