Houseflies land on the poop outside, and other nasty things. They fly into your house, and land on your counter. Your hand or food touches the counter. You eat whatever the fly dragged in and sometimes you get sick.

Ordinarily, the relationship between houseflies and poultry farms needs no introduction. The common housefly otherwise known as Musca domestica feeds and breeds on all kinds of organic matters that include food and animal feed, garbage, faeces, sewage and animal carcasses.
In an average farm, houseflies constantly shuttle between dirty areas with pathogens and clean areas such as feed storage and animal housing.
But this is where the problem lies. Due to this nature of movement, houseflies have over the years been implicated in the transmission of over 30 different types of diseases caused by bacteria, protozoan and viral parasites.
And the dreaded Avian Influenza is not an exception. A recent research at the North Carolina State University, United States of America has revealed that the common houseflies can indeed transmit the AI virus within a farm.
In arriving at this conclusion, the researchers said they got the first hint that houseflies could act as a carrier of the highly pathogenic H5NI strain of avian influenza, when “more than one-third of the adult Musca domestica sampled contained AI virus particles.”
Adult flies carried an infectious dose in their gut for more than three hours
Houseflies can also transmit the Newcastle Disease whose virus has since been known as a dedicated disease of the poultry. The hazards are focused on housefly feeding or sucking up liquid from putrefying food and feaces supporting high concentrations of pathogen.”
Houseflies are well established vectors of food poisoning bacteria like Salmonella. That is why recently, transmission of poultry virus diseases like Newcastle disease and avian influenza by houseflies is considered in addition to spread by direct contact, contaminated feaces and bird secretions.
The discovery of the role that houseflies could play in the transmission of avian influenza had introduced a new and more challenging dimension to the AI containment strategies in the country.
Houseflies can contaminate foods, hands and farm implements and can create a lot more problems in the farms if not properly handled
With the roles that houseflies are now said to be capable of playing in the spread of the disease,if necessary precautions were not taken, the world might just be on the brink of another pandemic.
An influenza pandemic is a rare but recurrent event. Three pandemics occurred in the previous century, these are the Spanish influenza of 1918 that killed an estimated 40 to 50 million people worldwide; Asian influenza of 1957 that killed 2 million people; and the Hong Kong influenza of 1968 that killed 1 million people.”

You will have to go back to the beginning with Adam. God told Adam that in the day you eat of this tree you shall surely die. So, with Adam and Eve's disobedience, they ushered in all the issues which lead to death. Whether it be through sickness, injury, disease, or old age. Now, if you skip ahead to Dueteronomy 28. There is a section there for curses which would fall on God's people, if they did not "listen". In that particular chapter it contains a list of sicknesses, diseases, and it goes on to say some sicknesses not even mentioned in the book would come upon the disobedient. But the whole point of the sickness thing is this. Sicknesses, injuries, and diseases and so forth are a spiritual reflection of a individuals heart. Your physical body is just a mirror for what is really going on in your spirit man. If you are spiritually sick, then it's going to manifest in your physical body. Remember, in Genesis 1, God said let us make man in our image and likeness. But once the sinful nature came, man at times has failed to live up to the image and likeness of God. The evidence of it have been sicknesses and disease. While in the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve lived in perfect health. Any questions, e-mail me.

They eject a substance from their mouths and that consists of whatever they last ate. That can be just about anything. That's why I don't like having them near food. They could be putting feces in my food when they land on it so I'm quick to shoo them off.

the flies land on garbage or **** or whatever gross thing you're thinking, and the gross thing sticks to their body, then they land on your food, say pizza or burger, then the food lands on your mouth, and then you get sick.
