Will you have to have surgery for?

If you have a kidney spleen infection what will happen? I know you'll be in the hospital for a few days, cuz this girl I know has it, but what happens with it? Do you have to have surgery or do they just medicate you or what?

for serious infections the usual course of treatment is intra-venous antibiotic therapy.

well if the medication doesnt work they will havta do surgery to remove the infected part so it cant spread
