Get some GatorAde or Pedialyte & drink it. You don't want to drink it so fast that you start vomiting. Some saltines might help too. Your urine should be clear. That is the key to hydration. If you are vomiting & cannot keep liquids down, you will have no choice but to go to the doctor or the ER. The darker your urine the more concentrated it is. The more concentrated your urine is, the more fluids you need. You might also try popcycles. Sometimes they are tolerated better. Flat Sprite is also good. A Sprite will go flat if you leave it open outside of the refrigerator in about 3-4 hrs. Then you can put it over ice to drink it. You don't necessarily have to drink water. Find what you can keep down. The GatorAde & Pedialyte have electrolytes added which will help with the cramps. Good luck.

The average adult female is supposed to drink approximately 8 cups of water every day. Most people don't drink this much, but that is the "official" answer. If you are feeling dehydrated, the main thing to do is drink water. Also, avoid caffeine for a little while; caffeine is a diuretic, and will cause you to lose your water.

Drink some gatorade if you have it. If not drink at least 8 cups of water over the day. Don't drink to much water at once it will make your problem even worse.

You can take some over the counter meds to try and reduce the nausea, cramps until then.

Drink only the recommended amount of water per day. Don't go chugging gallons, that can be harmful. Sounds more like an upset stomach.

they say to drink 8 glasses a day. I say drink whatever feels right. It's really bad if you dont drink water, not only will you get dehydrated but i believe it can also lead to bladder infections.

eat salt, first of all. table salt will suffice if you cannot get the pharmacy, non-prescription salt tablets.
If you cannot bear to just down some salt, eat something with a lot of salt. 1/2 teaspoon should do.

Then drink 8 ounces of water every 45 mins until you reach 12.
This will help your body rehydrate slowly and safely.

FYI...The purpose of the salt is that it helps you retain water.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

the body needs two liters a day to function efficiently, but if you are already dehydrated, you also need to add electrolytes so in addition to water you should also be drinking one of the sports drinks available.

Drink as much water as you can, but don't make yourself sick.

If you drink some Gatorade, make sure you drink just as much water too. Regardless of what people say Gatorade can dehydrate you if you drink too much.

don't eat too much salty foods and drink at least what your body is asking for...if you don't have the cravings for water, then snack on something sour and then have your water there...I'm sure you'll feel better...
