Your mum needs scientific care now, or she will have the skill to flow by way of nasty withdrawal. i could advise taking her to a scientific institution. they'll administer drugs to help ease her withdrawal soreness and save an eye fixed on her for any intense issues. There in the scientific institution, she will have the skill to obtain some counselling from a individual discovered in the sphere of alcoholism - possibly a social worker. This individual would have archives on AA, and different help communities. on a similar time, I rather propose you going to Al-Anon. it extremely is a sister team to AA. It teaches you the excellent thank you to manage an alcoholic. and additionally, the thank you to proceed to be healthful at a similar time as your are coping with plenty stress. you're being proactive. it extremely is particularly good. seek for scientific interest on your mum pronto. I desire you and your loved ones the final.

Alcohol is a psychologic and physical addiction. Chances are, if she truly is addicted, she will go through withdrawal. There probably are some medications out there that would take the edge off of the symptoms, or make her sick if she drinks, but you would still have to take her to the doctor to get them prescribed. She will go through rehab, it's just a matter if she's strong enough to come out ahead.

Have plenty of chocolate candy and other sweets available. It helps putting sugar into the system when withdrawing alcohol.

Been there done that and have the tshirt hanging on the line to prove it, but it wasn't my mum, it was her cousin!! He did eventually kill himself in a drunk driving accident.

Think of it this way. She either goes into withdrawals or she dies. Your choice. Check with her insurance company to see if they cover rehab. Also, try an intervention.
