Someone on here advised me to go see a doctor immidiately cuz my eyes were yellowish, and I might have a hypotisis or something. So I went and got my blood checked. I paid $500.00 to the doctor. The results didn't show nothing, but she did say that that doesn't mean that my liver was healthy and that in fact I needed to do often check ups every other 2 months, and if I didn't, it could be life threatening. The treatment would basically be for the rest of my life and it would be expensive as well. So I called my mom, she told me to go see this other doctor she trusts. I went to see him and he said that there was nothing wrong with my liver at all, that my eyes simply had a differnt color from other people. The first doctor was simply trying to make money off of me. Our friend had to take whole bunch of tablets from the doctors because she had hypotisis, and it didn't work and doctors couldn't do anything but charge her more money. My mom gave her aloe juce to drink, and she was healed.

I need to know exactly how stem cells would cure these diseases. I know that the cures have not yet been discovered but a doctor or medical professional's help would be greatly apprieciated.

it was makes me mad. he did this to me and I did not have ashma and he prescreble advair which could kill you and it almost did. likely I stopped the medicine myself and my employees were their for me. It turned out to be allegies and the chest x way was normal. he put on ashma medication before he knew he knew what it was. which was wrong and that why it almost killed me then he put me on another ashma medication. he also put me on another sinus medication. what do you think about what this doctor did just putting me on medicine before knowing what it is isn't that wrong? should he find out what it first then put me on the medication? should he not find out what it is and find out if I truely need the medicine instead of just prescrible stuff. then once you find out what it is then prescrible the medicine. I could not belive how mad he was that I was not going to take it. I did not care. what you guys think should of happened in my case is this the way it should of happened?

whats the difference? my symptoms are: sudden headaches, body aches, diariah for 3 days, nausea, dizziness- that was how it started and now i have where i keep throwing up- it's like a waterfall affect and i can't keep anything down, and i have watery diariah. i feel so weak and so blah! i told my husband yesterday "am i dying?". i drank 2 sips of gatorade and blad in an hour. i took nausea meds and they seem to have worked a little bit but i haven't eaten or drank anything at fear of the monster unleashing. oh and i lost 8 pounds from last night to this morning. will i keep that off? sorry i know that's weird but i was in the middle of a weightloss diet and if i can see those numbers on the scale again i'd be so excited. don't get me wrong i'd never wanna go through this again....thanks for your time!

I had on her nerve transposition surgery one week ago on my elbow. I feel pretty good have little pain, numbness, or tingling. How long before I can start typing? Right now I'm using voice activated software. My surgeon is very optimistic and told me to just do what feels comfortable. But I don't want to risk not healing properly. When can I start typing? I have a book contract deadline and this voice activated software is a nuisance compared to regular typing.

I've had this nail fungus for years now and I don't know how to get rid of it. I started taking Lamisil tabs but they are so expensive ($350/month supply) and my insurance will no longer pay for it. I have heard of using vinegar, tea tree oil and hydrogen peroxide. Has anyone had any success with any of these remedies? Or other ones?

I'm wondering about how a person can tell the difference between the two. I've felt my nodes be swollen before (with colds, etc.), but I've got a really bad swelling under my jaw that I've never experienced before.

Right now, the back of my mouth, under my tongue, and my neck under the jawline are all swollen. Extemely painful swallowing.

All of this came about very quickly, about two days ago. Under the jaw has ballooned fairly quickly and is also painful. I'm wondering if there is a possibility it will get even bigger? How can you tell if it's a swollen node vs a neck abscess? It feels fluid-y, not rock hard or anything. The size is quite noticeable visually. Very large difference from two days ago. Sort of like a goiter, but from what I've read, it doesn't fit the goiter descript.

I don't have much money now for a doctor's visit (no insurance), so I guess I'm in search of just how severe this might be. And if it's a storm that can be weathered without expensive medical help.

About 6 months ago I fell on the garage floor and was unconscious. After the surgery, I started having difficulty with short-term memory and have a problems with finding words when I speak. In addition, I am totally lethargic, highly fatigued, and sleep day and night most days. I also have mild apnea, but I do manage to make time to scarve up two plates of food and go to the bathroom. It is so frustrating and at times it makes me angry. I am not the same, energetic, animated, and fun person. Don't get me wrong, but I have wonderful neurologists and a supportive family, and two dogs who like me are getting to be chubby bunnies and all they want to do is cuddle with me. Although, my doctors say it takes time, I'm just wondering if anyone has the same experience.

Ok, so I fell in a river on a Scouting trip, and then i got an ingrown toenail. I waited too late and then it started to get this red bump thingy on it. It's really painful when it gets sqeezed/stepped on, and I have tried to soak in peroxide, Epsom Salts, whatever, but no red lines going up to my blood...yet. What can I do?
