I wore my disposable contacts for a month straight and now I'm in agony with bloodshot, swollen eyes. They're watery and glassy-looking. It hurts to blink, and I'm very sensitive to light.

I took out my contacts and am wearing glasses. I've been using re-wetting drops constantly. 24-hours later the pain has not let up. What could I have done to my eyes by wearing them for so long? Should I seek medical attention immediately, or give my eyes more time to recover on their own?

I was diagnosed with 6 cm PASH,and was operated on at major, high profile medical center last October. They did not remove all of it and it is growing and painful. I need a doctor who can help me. I can go anywhere.

There are two doctors saying I need surgery. One for the hernias (multiple) and one a plastic surgeon to correct the diastasis (seperation) of the abdominal muscles that didnt close after 2 back to back pregnancys.After my first born 9yrs old my tumy went back flat.. but later i had two more girls and they were really close together and over stretched me... I have many hernias and my liver acn be felt and decending aorta can be felt as well as intestines thrugh the belly button. Geesh im nervous... wondering if there are people out there who can share with me their stories on pain.... healing or down time... did they like results.... are you glad you did it? how long were you down for? Stuff like that. I go in today for results of CT scan and possible risks and surgery date scheduled.... a little nervous...i am constantly thinking about how much pain i would be in afterwards... maybe i am going crazy is there a bad scar? any advise would be grateful. thanks

I have been having a problem with my gassiness for years. I've gotten it checked up on, and nothing has helped at all.
On average my daily diet includes
-Raisin and Cinnamon Bagel
-Boiled Egg
-Spaghetti with meatballs and tomato sauce
-Salad
-50/50 White Brown Rice
-Lean Meats
-A couple of treats every so often
-Soy Milk
I hardly consume any dairy products whatsoever, yet I am passing gas every minute of every day (excluding my sleep, of which I am unaware).

I was diagnosed with no known allergies to the common foods (prick testing)

The problem is, the problem is REALLY bad when I am stressed out. Otherwise, the problem is still there just less severe. Are there any other reasons why I have this?

OK, so I know I have a UTI.. I've been drinking a ton of water and I'm about to go and get uristat...If I continue this do I need to go and get antibiotics (and why haven't they made these things over the counter yet?)

I was in so much pain today from my pelvic bone that I got clammy and got the fainting feeling so I lied down.I now that lying down and putting my head at a lower level than my body stops fainting but can a person still faint while doing this anyway?

It seems like for the past month, certain foods have been sending me into bouts of diarrhea, sometimes coupled with an upset stomach. This is especially true for any fast food that I eat. (I'm not saying I eat out a lot, just that when I do I can't stop going) For the past couple of days I have been feeling really lethargic and my hands and face feel a little swollen. I'm not sure if this is all related, but it hasn't seriously interrupted my life-only at times made it slightly uncomfortable. Should I be concerned? I'm making a doctors appointment for a couple of weeks, but if it sounds serious I may try to move it sooner.

So, should I be concerned? Any ideas what might be going on with me? Or do you think it might just be a simple dietary deficiency? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I see little black and white specs that fly around. There not real and i'm not crazy. But this is really scary. I don't know if this is connected but I just started getting really bad headaches that started 2 weeks ago and i have never had a headache before in my life until now. Does anyone have any idea what could be happening? Please don't tell me to go to the doctor because i do have an appointment next week.

I have acid reflux disease and the doctor has put me on a pepcid pill (1 a-day) but i recently found out taking pepcid everyday for extended periods may cause polups which can cause cancer. So I am hoping that someone would know of a way to help me with the acid reflux that I get if I do not take the pepcid. In worse conditions I will still take the pepcid but I would perfer not to take it everyday. Pleae help, I didn't take the pepcid last night and now I have heart burn really bad!

I have been quiet for a bit of time, when it is quiet, I start to hear fuzzy sound in my head, whenever it is quiet. My friend says he has it too, and its natural and you are going to have for the rest of your life.

What is the fuzzy sound I hear in my head? Which part of my brain is disfunctional

I have slanted pankies, what is that called?

And a toenail, that has a deep black scratch on the surface too, its been years, it wont stop the black screetch on my toenail. I had that blackscreetch sense childhood, what is this?

He told me I possibly have haemochromotosis and will possibly need to under go blood letting every few weeks to keep the iron level at a normal rate. Does anyone know much about this and if anything else can cause high iron levels?

I have hypothyroidism and I am taking Synthroid. I missed taking them for about a week, but now I started taking them again, continuously every day in the morning! I was also taking my birth control pills prescribed by my doctor! I started taking them again about a month ago, then stopped cause I figured, everything is kool!! I am one week late with my period and I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! Are these pregnancy tests accurate?? I did some bloodwork, EKG, Urine, and had an X-ray done about 3 weeks ago, but my doctor didn't mention that I was pregnant! I haven't been sleeping, I have put on a little weight....not much! I did the pregnancy test today, but I have been stressed out lately, with college and homework and haven't been sleeping too good!! When I recieved the results of the tests, my potassium level was slightly high and the doctor did another blood test last week!! I am now waiting the results of this test! I have an MRI to do on Wednesday!! Can you please help?

Im 26 yrs old & have been feeling unwell for nearly 3 months now. It all started off with the tingling of the fingertips on my left hand. A few days after that i was flushed with fatigue and ongoing lightheadedness which made me feel "Spaced out" and a dull "not in this world" feeling. I went to a G.P. and he found out that i had some sort of middle ear infection and put me on antibiotics. I also saw an ENT who checked me up and said that my ear was abit red and probably was all due to a viral infection. My ear ended up feeling better after a few weeks but the lightheaded, dull, confused, anxiety feeling was still there. I started getting really severe heartburn pains and indigestion, and i was ordered to get a gastroscopy in which they found out that i had chronic gastritis and 3 stomach ulcers. I am now on Nexium for that. Recently i completed a blood test which blood count was normal but my thyroid TSH was low. Have had brain MRI which was normal too. Can anyone give me insight?

I had a dream last night that i was in my room, my door was locked and the door knob started rattling like there was a spirit or something unseen rattling it.

I called out for my mum but i couldn't speak. i tried to bang on the walls but its like there was a field so i couldn't bang on the walls or make any noise.

I often have nightmares that i call out for my mum but she doesn't hear me. Quite often if i was really tired i'll wake up and not be able to move, or feel someone squeezing me and i can't move and can't talk for a while. I also get wobbly, in my dreams i fall over and do circles, and when i wake up my body feels wobbly.

Why do i have dreams like this and is there anyway to fix sleep paralysis type things?

i feel really blehhh.
ihave nausea, stomach ache (like an empty feeling), i feel a little bloated and ive been burping a lot. the burping seems to relieve it for a few minutes.

ive eaten so im not hungry and ive consumed lots of water too.

anyone know whats wrong?
