There is a small pocket of puss on the top hole. I know to use the special soap the piercer provides and warm sea salt soak. Are there any other remedies?

Read on a medical site not to take longer, but know of ppl taking it long term/every day for years why would I stop after 4 mnths? Would they switch meto something else? I don't want to rid myself of the anxiety then go back to how I was...anyone have any experience with kolopin (or seroquel), or know why the site would say that?

My child is 7yrs old. When she was 3 she was diagnosed with mononucleosis using the ebv titers (not just the mono spot test) which means it was a positive diagnosis. For the past 4 weeks she has been unusually tired. My child is normally VERY active and full of engery. Now she is too tired to play at night, lethargic, a little irritable, and falling asleep early on the couch. Within this time period she has had 2 illness. A 48 hour fever on 2/23/07, and on 3/9/07 an ear infection w/ 6 day fever treated with antibiotics. The tiredness has me worried. Doc says it could be mono again, although this is not common, he said it can happen. The ebv titer test was inconclusive. It showed she did have mono in the past, but the current infection test was uncertain, and the only way to know is to repeat 3 wks from now. I am scared it vould be something more serious. With the fevers, fatigue, etc., I am REALLY worried as my child is acting so different. Help!

Some of the symptoms are a lot of feelings of guilt and shame, extreme greediness and a fascination with money.

Frequently recurring hard stool/starining resulting in anal fissuer?
I have this problem for the last 2 years. I have been using Macrogol, (Movicol brand name). When ever I try to stop it, I get hard stool and I have to straing to pass the stoll. Resulting in an anal fissuer, which is really very very painfull. I don`t drink, I don`t eat much meat, once a week, I eat a lot vagetables and fruits. But I can`t get rid of hard stool. The interesting part is, when I got to toilet, the first bit of my stool is hard but the rest , one sitting, is soft and not so hard. Once I get a hard stool, that leaves me with pain in rectum and anal fissuer and then I can`t go to toilet for 1-2 days. Another thing is, after I eat something, mostly meals, my tommy bloats up, and when I say bloats up, I means a huge and significant differnce, but after couple of hours it goes back down.
Anyone help me what to do?

Hi,
My son is 8 years old and we have noticed a bulge in his chest around the nipples on the right hand side. The rib bones have come out. We noticed this around 2 years back and we consulted some doctors even but every body suggested that it's not a disesase. It's a by birth defect and nothing to worry about this.
Since last week we have noticed that the bulge has increased. even though my son never complains about any sort of pain or does he have any difficulty because of this.
My son also suffers from Asthamatic cough for which he normally uses inhalers to get cured.
We would appreciate if anybody could please share their thoughts, experiences or suggestions around this.
We are from putting up in New Delhi, India.

I am only 28 years old. A few months ago I went to the ER for lower back pain+abdominal pain. My stools were long and flat (ribbon-like). The doctors didn't know what was wrong with me. I was running a 102 temp., anemia, severe dehydration, ect.. After two weeks in the hospital all they could say was I had a really bad infection. Now the lower back pain is back along with the ribbon-like stools. I feel fine other than that. I went right away to my doctor and it probably is just back pain. Any input?
