Saltine crackers (absorbs some of stomach acid). Bananas and gatoraid (which you said you can't take) replace potassium that you lose vomiting/diarrhea -- so you you should really try the gatoraid again. Yellow/green (original) or red are best, the blue/orange/bright green/frost flavors are not as good, per my children's doctor.

Also, plain white rice (cooked of course) do the same thing to stabilize all that acid.

I'd try something simple like toast or crackers, saltines usually work well. You can also try to calm nausea with ginger, either from the spice rack, in pill forms, or ginger snaps.

Mint works well too, try mint teas.

Also I've heard but have never tried, a peach tea bag in a glass of ginger ale, sounds weird, but if you're sick anything that stay's down is a good thing.

Try Soup. A lot of people eat toast with a little bit of butter but the yeast found in things like bread can help bacteria and stuff to thrive and multiply. (not good)

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Try some dry toast...the darker the better. The carbon in the burnt bits absorbs the germs and calms your stomach.

Try just munching on a couple of crackers. If that does ok, eat a piece of dry toast.
