She needs to be sure she is getting these treated by the doctor. Throw out whatever soap you have that she uses on her face and get a new bar out. Be sure she does not touch her eyes when she has an active stye and be sure she when she washes her eyes that she doesn't use the same washcloth on both eyes as this can spread the bacteria. For now be sure she see the doc to get these properly treated. The doc may recommend washing her eyelids daily with dilute baby shampoo.

while you're extremely apprehensive approximately it you could take her to the surgeon. styes are very contagious, from pores and skin to pores and skin touch, sharing makeup issues like that. the medicine will make it much less contagious and help preclude her from getting yet another one. as to doing away with this one, utilising heat compresses is the terrific ingredient for it. it brings the stye to a head and it pops. do no longer pop it your self. in case you do, the an infection ought to probable unfold throughout the attention and create issues sooner or later. sturdy success

This happened to me and this is what my opthalmologist told me to do and it worked. Go to the drug store and buy these eyelid cleaning cloths. There are a couple of different brands but basically, they are little gauze wipes, individually wrapped, soaked in mild cleanser. Have her clean her eyelids every night paying special attention to the lash line. This will clear away the dead skins and detritus that tends to build up on our eyelids and clogs the pores. You didn't say but 13 is when a lot of girls start to wear makeup. If that't the case, she really needs to learn that makeup must be removed every night before bed.

Make sure she isn't using other peoples makeup including yours. Wipe off all makeup around the eyes everynight, or just stop using eyeliner and mascara for a couple of weeks. I would just toss out the eyemakeup and get some new stuff when ready to wear it again.
Also, she should wash her hands before touching her face...especially around the eyes.

my daughter had the same problem for a while...tell her to stop wiping her eyes and keep her hands away from her face. If she must wipe her eyes or face, she needs to get a wet cloth that's clean. And if she get's around a lot of dust or anything, have her wear some safety goggles...good luck!
