Ok, so I fell in a river on a Scouting trip, and then i got an ingrown toenail. I waited too late and then it started to get this red bump thingy on it. It's really painful when it gets sqeezed/stepped on, and I have tried to soak in peroxide, Epsom Salts, whatever, but no red lines going up to my blood...yet. What can I do?

The obvious answer here is to see a doctor. You have waited so long that you now have a real problem. Infections are not something that you can just ignore or treat with home remedies.

Wow, its pretty infected. I wouldn't suggest it, but as a last case scenario, you can try to pop the red bump (ouch) and drain it. Then you could try to cut the toe nail out and then douse it with neosporin. I had one that wasn't that bad that I drained (ewww) and then used nail clippers to fix the nail. I put bandaids on it with neosporin (bacitracin) for a few days and it healed fine. But you always risk making it worse, so be forwarned.
