Why don't more people sign their organ donor card to donate their organs to people in need after their death?

You would be amazed how many organs that belong to people who signed their donor card do NOT get used because family says no to the donation and the doctors do not just think about organ donation above all else. That is a last thing after time of death has been called. Before death has been called they don't even think about the organs but about the person's life and about what to tell the family who will be distrought.

Sometimes people just doin'g want to make that decision. It's hard enough to accept a death. More people should let their families know that it is they dying wish....because it's the gift of life. Also, there are times when someone dies that they don't know cause so not everything can be donated. When my mom passed, that was one of the first things that they asked us.....they ended up taking her corneas and all of her bones from hips down. People need to be more educated about organ donation and what they tissues will be used for.

OK, this is not nice but I am going to share my opinion w/you:
Your family members have the last word even if you singed as an organ donor. (inform your family of your decision)
I am afraid that doctors are not going to do the best they can to save my life because someone is paying them top dollars under the table for my organs. (everything is possible, you be surprised at everything that happens).

Your question is relative to human personnel issue. Thus,we can't treat people willing to be donate their organ in volunteer and availability. Some more our education and publication not ready encourage people to do so because this may against the ethicals .In facts if the donation is too open and popular ,its not a healthy issue because there may cause some private sector aims on profitable venture and use this functional to gain more profit margin .We don't want see this happen in one day. This is because human are never satisfy their need.

Some people don't do it because it conflicts with religious beliefs, some don't because they're not quite sure what the organs will be used for, and some don't do it simply because they want to keep all their organs with their body, even after death.

sure. yet i might replace it because of the fact I even have been listening to recently that while you're in contact in twist of fate and the possibilities are high which you're no longer likely to make it, they might actually help bypass away. i will make advantageous that my organs are donated, because of the fact it's going to be in my will and my kinfolk is well-known with my desires.
