My dog is about 35 pounds, entlebucher mix (small swiss mountain dog) and she is a VERY nervous rider in a vehicle. She will just not lie down or relax. She pants and pants and gets herself so tired out that she will sleep for hours when we arrive at a destination or home. I take xanax myself (.05) and just wonder if they would help her, or are they harmful for dogs? THanks

My friend thinks that she is the only one, and she thinks she is wierd,,,,,, but she isn't alone, and she isn't wierd at all, I think it is the depression making her think that,
What is crazy is that after being depressed for so long you get so used to it, that when you finally go on medicine, you look back and think,,,,,,OMG,,,,,,I can't believe I put up with that for so long, and you see how bad it really was.

What comes to mind when you think of nurses? Give me some words to describe what you think about nurses. Could you also tell me you gender and age? Also, if you are a nurse please don't answer because I am doing a project to see what people outside of the nursing profession think of nurses.

A friend recognized that his sister had had the same symptoms but was diagnosed for brain hemorrhages.

Our friend had suffered from an episode of paralysis down one side when she was 17. She is now 28.

About 3 years ago she had episodes where she zoned out. Here eyes became bloodshot, she was not aware of where she was, if you passed your finger in front of her face her eyes would only follow a few seconds later. This could last from a couple of minutes to twenty minutes. She apparently had a “mental breakdown”. I believe the problem was diagnosed as a reaction to stressful situations and as panic attacks. So unfortunately she does not feel able to work and is not getting on with her career.

Also, she has episodes where one side of her face becomes temporarily paralyzed. I believe this has been diagnosed as neuralgia.

If anyone has any suggestions for further action, further research, relevant web pages, or a diagnosis then please let me know.

I am 52 years old and recently, I have begun experiencing the wierdiest thing! The first time this happened to me was about 6 months ago.I was confronted about something that really angered me,and the next thing I felt was the palms of my hands were burning so intentally, that I had to place them in a bowl of cool water in order to cool them off. Okay, if that wasn't wierd enough.Next time was not long after the burning hands moment, once again, a situation where I was quite upset and the tension and stress were way over the top, but I am not letting it be known that I am feeling this way,and to my surprise the bottoms of my feet starting burning and itching so bad ,once again in order to relax,I placed my feet and hands in cool water. So it seems that every time I'm under extreme stress and or anger,I experience this odd sympton. So, and that's all I have to say about that.

wondering about the incision site itself...I was quite large with this baby and seems to have a bit of a belly that folds over my incision site. There always seems to be moisture there and while there is no drainage or anything like that, there is an unplesant odor. My Dr assures me that this is okay, but I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there with a similar experience, and what you did about it! THANKS!

Ive had Crohns disease for about 7 years now and have been in remission for about 5 years and if I stick to my diet I live pretty much symptom free, except for always being fatigued!
I have been to my dr a few times and have ruled out all the common fatigue symptoms like thyroid and my b levels, but im thinking that it may very well be my crohns disease.

Does anyone else who has been diagnosed with crohns experience fatigue all the time?

Now 15 years later still have it. Have seen doctors had bloodwork done but no one really ever solved the problem, thought was due to anxiety but is present even when calm. Mostly seems to be visual, have impression things are rotating and need to hold on to not fall, lasts 3-4 second about once a day but some days do not have it. Worsens if eat lunch late and feel hungry but still happens on full stomach. Any ideas? I think I will have to live with it for my entire life.

my friend has a disease or maybe syndrome or maybe condition. I dont know what to call it. he was born with it and it can be genetic because his sister also has it. It effects his hearing to the point that he has had a hearing aid since birth. This also effects his eyesight. He cannot see pin point light like stars or see in the dark. He constantly wears contacts. My parents asked me what the name of it is and I couldnt remember. I asked him to tell me the name but he just started joking with me, so I think he may not want to talk about it and I feel slightly embarressed to ask him. Does anyone know what this might be?

In the last couple of years I have begun to lose my physical ability to write. Whenever I try to write, I have problems with my hand cramping around the utensil, or I can't get a firm grip around it, so my hand slips causing big stray marks on my papers. I would prefer to type everything because writing is literally becoming painful. I don't really think that it is carpel tunnel syndrome because I don't experience any of the customary pain symptoms while doing anything other than writing. If someone has any info about what this may be, please let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
