I have all the symptoms (for months now) pointing towards hypothyroidism - low body temperature (95-97), always cold, constipation, dry skin/thinning hair, tired, etc. I recently had TSH test, which came back normal. Yet, I am going in to see an endocrinologist since I know something ISNT normal. From this alone it is obvious that something is not right with my thyroid gland...however, there is something else that I wasn't sure may have an influence. A few weeks my lymph node under my neck swelled up, became tender...I soon develop aching head sickness and fought it days later. I assumed the swollen lymph node was just a response to fight the infection. It continues to remain today (which isn't suprising) and this evening it started to become tender again, slightly more inflammed.
I was wondering if there was any connection btwn the inflammed lymph node and my other symptoms, AND if there are any other causes of my symptoms OTHER than hypothyroidism.

Today I was giving a presentation to my class and all of a sudden there was ringing in my ears and my vision become blurred, I was seeing stars and I couldn’t see 10 feet in front of me. My hands also were shaking uncontrollably. This also happens when a go to the doctor, but then I am really nervous, it never happened when I was giving a presentation before.

Any idea what causes this or what I can do about it?

My son had an MRI friday morning to check for possible regrowth of a brain tumor. Here it is after hours on monday and we still do not know the results. We called the Dr office twice today, once we were told they hadn't scanned results for the doctor to review yet and later we were told we should be contacted at the end of the day. The first time we found the tumor in 1998, my GP was on the phone with me before my son even left the MRI,,,, that was in Connecticut. We know live in Kansas,,, am I wrong in thinking that this is ridiculous, leaving someone dangling on something so important? I'd welcome the medical professions opinion on this too.

For the past two weeks I have been going thru alot of stress at work mostly because we have been short staffed and there is alot of work coming to us.
Then last week I started feeling this really bad pain. It starts out with a pain or pressure on my chest as if someone is pushing me or as if there is this big air bubble in my chest that is causing pressure because I end up having to burp it out to realieve it a little bit, then I also get shoulder pain and headaches along with that. I cannot breath and I have a hard time seeing and/or concentrating...
What can this be? I have had this before since I was 18 and I'm now 24 and will be seeing a doctor tomorrow on this..I cant take the pain anymore...But for right now...any help and/or advise will help relieve me.
Thanks

I know this seems like a stupid question, but I have reason to be curious about this topic. In my school, practically every "attractive" person claims they have never been sick. (Most of them are about 16). I wouldn't be suspicious if it was only one or two people claiming this, but there are much more than that. I wonder if fate has granted them some immunity to disease just because they are "attractive." Also, I find it very hard to picture an "attractive" person getting sick. Keep in mind, this data is from my school alone. There could be something weird going on with the people enrolled.
