My mother has fibromyalgia and unfortunately I am starting to exhibiting some symptoms. As it progresses, she has not begun to suffer from insomnia, managing only 2 hours of sleep per night and barely functioning at work. Any suggestions to help her sleep? She is adverse to sleep pills.... it's really worrying me because I hate to see her like that and additionally it seems to be a mirror of what I will have to suffer.

I have pierced ears and one earlobe is infected and I heard from my boyfriend that Vicks could be used to help heal my infected earlobe. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this before and if it actually works.

My father was just diagnosed with prostate cancer. The doctor said he's in Phase 2. We're gonna get the surgery in 6 weeks. I want to know how long I can expect to still have him around. Because the doctors aren't being very helpful.

And if you are an adult, do problems continue into later life?

Kids are supposed to be loud and rambunctious Isn't it bad for the child to feed them Ritalin to "calm them down" and is this an excuse for bad and impatient parents?

I did the spit test and my spit was stringy and fell to the bottom. I had bad breath for about 7 years and sinus problems. I also have toe nail fungus and tinea versicolor fungus of the skin. I got the tinea under control but nothin else. It started during a very stressful time and i was going through puberty. I took some medicine when i was about 8 for my toe nail fungus but my mom stopped it cuz she was scared for my liver. I also took antibiotics for my acne to iono if that has anything to do with it. I really want all this to go away. I dont really get tired, i can do things. Im jus tired of hidin cuz my breath. Could candida be result of my bad breath and sinus problems? I know im suseptible to fungus because i got tinea versicolor and toe nail fungus, so could i jus be a breedin ground for candida. I use to drink lots of sodas and eat lots of bread. I love cheese and meat. I jus want my bad breath and sinus problems to stop, i need help.

I've just been scheduled for this procedure (where they use a scope to examine your esophagus and stomach) and I'm familiar with the basics.

I'm just looking for other peoples' experiences. If you could answer some of the following, I'd appreciate it:
How did you handle it?
Was it terribly uncomfortable?
How long did it take you to recover from the anesthetic?
Was it unpleasant to eat or drink afterward?
How soon after could you eat or drink?
(I ask this question because I have hypoglycemia and I don't want to be sick from that on top of being uncomfortable from the procedure)

Any candid advice and insights would be welcomed. Thanks for your time.

I am taking 450mg of Lyrica a day, 60mg of Baclofen a day, 1100mg of Naproxen a day, 200mg of Provigil a day, 10 mg of Uroxatral a day, 385mg of aspirin a day and was given a prescription of 500mg Hydrocodone to take 2 as needed for pain. I haven't taken any of this because I am concerned with the interactions it may incur. I have acute Multiple Sclerosis and a pinched nerve in my lumbar. Can anyone tell me?

Last night it was terrible while I was walking up a flight of stairs. I was short of breath, too. I have lupus and I never know what is really a problem and what is just lupus.
