It's not normal, but if they're bigger than usual then it's probably just blood from little tears in the skin from being stretched. If your stool is black or looks like coffee grounds then get to the doctor right away but if it's just alittle bloody then it's probably nothing real serious. Try taking fiber and stool softeners and see if that helps. If it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks see your doctor.

sometimes you can have a small amount of blood in your stool. If you have been constipated or have hemorrhoids that could be the cause. Keep an eye on it for a couple of days to see if it continues. Try adding some fiber to your diet. Also, if you develop pain in the abdomen, cramping, a lot of blood, fever or bright red blood or tarry stools go to the ER. Otherwise check in with your family doctor if you continue to see blood in the stools.

Don't panic! It might be just hemorrhoid. It can be internal or external and sometimes it might bleed. In such a case blood is of very bright color. But if the blood is dark it might be a sign of more serious problem. But again, don't panic! Just go for a check up and only doctor will tell you what's going on.

It's normal only if you are about to begin and / or are in your menstural cycle. Otherwise, it CAN be a sign of rectal cancer, colon cancer, and assorted intestinal / bowel problems. Let your doc guide you regarding what tests to do to get to the bottom of this. I'm not trying to diagnose anything, but I wouldn't over-look an O &C--a test in which the patient gives a bowel sample and the doc sends it to a lab bor culture tests and exploring many factors. Good luck!

It doesn't sound "normal" to me. My husband had that symptom for a couple of years and kinda ignored it. When he finally went to the doctor they discovered rectal cancer. I don't mean to scare you, but abnormalities in your body aren't anything to play around with. Your "issue" may be something very simple, and easily fixed.....but you really need to have a medical professional check it out.

Not exactly normal, but not so alarming even. If it's one off, just forget it. If it happens regularly or for a long time or it's a lot or if you feel week - then rush to your g.p.
