And quite often (couple times a day) I will get milder episodes, and I feel that when I have my eyes closed, my eyes shift to the side. I know this sounds weird, but does anyone know what it is?

I get migraines ALL THE TIME. One or more a week. I know I don't drink that much caffeine, but that could be a possibility. Thank you for all your answers!

Probably the blood supply to your head is on the low.

Subject to your health condition/permission.
1- Do not sleep with a pillow.
2- If possible do the exercise where the head is on the floor and legs above, support against the walls ot with someones help.
3-If 2 is not possible, for some time while lying down, put 2 pillows in your feet, and 1 before that, so that u get an inclined position, which will help u assist the blood flow easier to your head.
4-Sit straight rotate ur head clockwise and anticlockwise equal number of times say 3 times very slowly, closing ur eyes. After that sit in the chait for 5 minutes taking deep breadth. The chances are u may feel giddy, but it will be better, in a minute or so. When u open ur eyes u will find things brighter/better. If u find it better do 2 - 3 times daily say after u get up in the morning, noon and before going to bed. If not do not do it.

Drink plenty of water & liquids. Walk about a couple of Kms daily.

It sounds like a touch of vertigo to me. This happens to me once in a while. There are several things you can do. It may be that your equilibrium is off, and a simple shake of the head may clear it up. If it happens often there are medications you can take. There was also a mineral, I believe it was niacin that I took when it happened a lot. I wish I could remember, but your doctor should know. Just to make sure its nothing dangerous I would go see him soon.

You could be dehydrated. Even if you drink coffee all day or a soda. Drink water see if this helps.

I would hate to think you could be experiencing seizures. We have these and they are not fun.

Our you pregnant?

Do you have migrain headaches?

Go into the doctor.
