1 TAKE A CUP AND FILL IT WITH LUKEWARM WATER 2 ADD 2 TABLE SPOONS OF SALT AND MIX IT WITH THE WATER 3 TAKE A SIP AND GARGLE FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS THEN SPIT IT OUT 4 REPEAT STEP 3 UNTIL YOU FINISH THE CUP 5 DO STEP 1 - 4 EVERY 3 HOURS AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BETTER IN ABOUT A DAY. This will not only relieve it but will cure it faster than anything! Not going to prevent future sore throats but this always worked for me and it is unbelievable!

It is just a feeling of nausea. Don't worry about it. Sore throat is a minor viral infection which affects you pretty badly physically. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

Halls is about the best temporary think without making you feel weird.
See a doctor, you may need antibiotics. Especially if you have a strep infection which can make you pretty sick.
You may be coming down with the flu. That is why you need to see a doctor if it doesn't clear up pretty soon and by that I mean tomorrow.

Cure it? I don't think that you can, since it's probably due to something bacteriological. However, cough syrup should be a quick fix. Drink plenty of water to flush out the bacteria or viruses.

sounds like your tonsils are swollen, this causes your gag reflex to react.
although it could be strep throat, which if not treated could advance to an infection in your blood stream and land you in the hospital for a week or two.
see your doctor asap!
good luck!
