I am 52 years old and recently, I have begun experiencing the wierdiest thing! The first time this happened to me was about 6 months ago.I was confronted about something that really angered me,and the next thing I felt was the palms of my hands were burning so intentally, that I had to place them in a bowl of cool water in order to cool them off. Okay, if that wasn't wierd enough.Next time was not long after the burning hands moment, once again, a situation where I was quite upset and the tension and stress were way over the top, but I am not letting it be known that I am feeling this way,and to my surprise the bottoms of my feet starting burning and itching so bad ,once again in order to relax,I placed my feet and hands in cool water. So it seems that every time I'm under extreme stress and or anger,I experience this odd sympton. So, and that's all I have to say about that.

Hi Swtpees

Energy! We are all made of energy (even scientists agree with this, amazingly). You can move energy with good or bad thoughts. You've never heard of Pranic or Reiki healing? The Practice to balance energy in one's body. You are not balanced and that is signal that you need to find it in life. We all get signals everyday, but are we listening to finding the balance in life?

Go to one of the healers I mentioned (even a massage moves some energy) and you will feel much better. No need to stress over anything unimportant. Youve been around too long to let anything get to you. You know better! Smile and think about the positives in life. You have several so enjoy the ride!

Best of health to you

It's called the fight and flight syndrome. When ever we get upset or scared the blood leaves our extremities and goes to our over worked heart and lungs. When the blood suddenly changes a course per say leaving your feet and hands without the circulation they are use to people describe feeling pins and needles sensations and burning. The best way to combat this is to try some deep breathing when a situation arises that puts you in this state. Good luck.

!) Did you note any redness or swelling with the itching. Stress can cause hives.
2) It could also be erythromelalgia.
See if your doctor thinks is one of those two?

It could be high blood pressure...Whenever I get really mad, my face and hands start burning and itching, and it is because of my blood pressure.
