how long does it take for my birth control pills to be effective again (when can i stop using backup methods)????

Here is my blood test

HB is 15.5 g/dl
Haematocrit is 44.1 %
W.B.C is 5
R.B.C is 5.11
Platelets is 155
M.C.V is 86.3
M.C.H is 30.3
M.C.H.C is 35.1

Neutrophils is 72%
Lymphocytes is 19%
Monocytes is 6%
Eosinophils is 2%
Basophils is 1%
My health is not very good,
easy to get cold, bluish Fingernails, cold intolerance
I see a doctor and do this blood test and say I have no big problem.
But things keep happen and I feel tried all the time
pls give me some comment on it and I will see another doctor this week.

I don't know if I should on a diet. I have acne, dak circles, bad breath, and I constantly have gas in my stomcah (most of it is in school) but when I am at home, I don;t have that stomach problem. I don't even eat in school anymore. do I need to see a doctor. bad breath and acne is causing me emotional problems as well. do i need to go on a detox diet.

I was diagnosed with Age-Related Macular Degeneration last week. Since then I have searched articles.....50% says daily use of aspirin causes this. 50% says aspirin does not cause it. So, what is the truth?

have been having abdominal pain for awhile. About a month ago I kept getting these stomache pains but I kept thinking maybe because I was getting my period. Now my period is over and I am still getting these pains. I was wondering if it can be related to irritible bowel syndrome since I was diagnosed awhile back with it. I do go to the bathroom at least once a day(bowel movement) and I also have cystitis so can that be related too? I tried prune juice and metamucel and I did have a few bowel movements but the pain is still there. Can it take time to work? Do you think the cystitis has anything to do with IBS? I am urinating alot as well. Any ideas would be great.

Have a family member who is on blood thinners for more than a year...recently several nurses caring for him in the hospital questioned the discoloration on his forearms, I assumned bruising from thinning skin combined with blood thinners = bruising. One of the nurses showed me what a blood thinner bruise looks like on his arm and said the "other" was not caused by med's....said something about his skin and lack of circulation..the discoloration resembles brusing but with a darker purple/black color..both sides of his lower forearms are covered. Does anyone out there have an idea what might be the culprit? He is 78yrs old with COPD, CHF, Dysphagia, circulatory problems as well as occasional elevated B.P., has had two strokes and is currently in ICU from coding (complications from pnemonia)...on respirator and beginning dialysis.

When weather is around 12 (C) degree
my body temp is 35(C) in the morning,
cold intolerance and need to wear alot... of clothes.
bluish Fingernails and will be better after lunch/dinner or shower.
I cannot concentrate on my work and feel tired all the time.
And I have depression and dry skin, all seems to be thyroid disorder.

Will I get thyroid disorder because I have depression?
or I get depression because I have thyoid discorder
or it is something else?

I will check with my doctor, but can you give me some advice? thanks.

So that you need never have come into contact witha particular disease to have immunity to it.

You see, my friend holds that there is little point in being fastidious about hygiene since we need to develop a resistance to 'diseases'. So long as we don't overedo it - he maintains - a little bit of dirt is a good thing.

Can anyone who knows what they're talking about comment on this?
