My healthy 23 year old son recently just went for a physical. He was having no problems. The doctor said his liver appeared enlarged and sent him for some blood work and an ultrasound. The doctor has now said that the ultrasound appeared normal and found nothing in the blood work, but want my son to have more blood work drawn to check his iron and saying may be a "fatty liver." My son does not drink and is not on any medications that might cause a fatty liver. He is about 6'tall and weighs about 220 so is slightly overweight. Does anyone have any ideas of what the doctor might be looking for and what could have cause the fatty liver? he used to take supplements like creatin several years ago when he was buff and went to the gym. Could that be related?

For the past week, I've been having a bunch of "panic attacks", waking up in the middle of the night, feeling like I can't breathe.

My mom kept saying it's a cold, but I'm always suddenly feeling dizzy. I'm on the contraceptive pill, TriNessa, and now I have arm pain in my left arm, and sudden chest pain which goes down to my stomach.

I'm going to urgent care later on today, and I'm terrified. I think it's a blood clot, my doctor told me to go to the hospital if I got any of the symptoms above.

So I have three questions.

Do you think what I have will be a blood clot?

How are blood clots treated?

Can I die from it?

Someone, PLEASE help me.

I started wheezing about 2 years ago. I am overweight, but have been since I was 20 and never had a wheezing problem. I moved to Scotland 5 years ago and think that might have something to do with it. My hubby thinks it's because of my weight. I was wondering if there is any merit in his belief. I don't think so. My asthma is triggered with excercise, so walking gets me breathless, so I don't do it any more than I have to. I know I have to get out more and walk, but when you walk slower than a pensioner and can't catch your breath it is easier to stay in.

I had my gall bladder removed in December of 2002 and I still have the pain of having a glaa bladder attack.

The pain comes and goes. Sometimes I can go weeks without having any pain but sometimes it seems to come and go more frequently. For instance, today I've had 4 episodes since 4 a.m. until now (2 p.m.).

Has anybody experienced this and why does it still happen?

My doctor is aware of the problrm but doesn't seem to think it is a big deal. She thinks it may be that the ducts and tubes that the bladder was attached to still think they need to spam.

Is there a way I can 'let my body know' that it doesn't need to do this anymore?
