The reason that I am asking for advice is becasue I've had already two bone marrow tests performed on me (which are very painful) yet the doctor's tell me that since this is a slow growing cancer, all I can do for now is be monitered (blood work/24 hr urine) until the disease progresses. What should I do? There is no cure for this disease.

I was wondering what might these symptoms be a sign of:

epilepsy grand mal seizures
wild bipolar mood swings, some violence and crazy talk
some loss of control of body functions

could these be related as a natural disease? could they be brain damage, if so, what could have occurred? could they be a sign of the delayed effects of past drug use of minimal amounts of cocaine, heroin, meth, and marijuana?

Thanks.

thanks.

I have been bothered with a "lump in my throat" (feels like phlegm) since last April. I've had a barium swallow, tonsilectomy, sinus surgery, etc. The barium swallow proved negative for AR. I went to a different ENT and he said I have a fungus in my throat. I was on Diflucan for 4 weeks. I go back to the doctor next week to get checked. The feeling is back (although it never completely went away.) I've been to internal medicine, GI, and 2 ENT's. At times it feels like my throat swells up--and it seems like maybe it's after I eat certain things like peanuts/peanut butter, chocolate, or cheese. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I would appreciate any help your suggestions you can give.

MSG in Food causes developmental problems in unborn and young children. So, maybe MSG also causes Autism? Maybe that's why the rate of defects in children is so high today? They are now saying that MSG causes memory issues with adults too. MSG sounds more dangerous than alcohol or drugs. I'm not eating any more food with MSG, and our wonderful GOVT. should ban the chemical NOW. What do you think?

i'm a male coming to 22 and i recently got diagnosed with dextroscoliosis (24 degrees) and APD. i'm pretty normal in every other aspect (and low muscle tone~ BMI 18). but i noticed this disorder called Cerebral Palsy (which symptoms may include scoliosis and APD).

i'm not sure if i should seek diagnosis on CP and if i do, are there any useful treatment for it going around? What should i look out for?

What's that disease called? It's like the one Robin Williams had in his movie "Jack". Only it's not like the person will grow taller and will look like an adult. The person will grow older physiologically, as in, he'll get wrinkles and he will get diseases, like hypertension, etc, which commonly afflicts adults, people with congenital diseases, or those who don't have a heathly lifestyle.

I never had floaters in my eyes before, but for the last few days I have had off/on again floaters appearing. They look like greyish dots falling down and then bouncing at times. (I'm 21 year old female).

I was also in a car accident, near X-mas, and I hit my head really hard. I had my eyes checked directly after the wreck, because my eyes hurt. Could it be a detached retina showing up?

I've scheduled an appointment with my eye doctor on Monday, but I'm worried until then.

I am certain that it's the Chantix. I take vitamins with it, and it's the only thing new that I take. The hives are intense, and the cover my complete upper body, including my face. Thanks.

My son is 10 years old, and up until the last few months has had 20/20 vision, he started complaining of headaches, not able to see well. Today at his eye doctor appt the doctor said that though further testing has to be done, but that he is pretty sure that he has glaucoma. He said that his optic nerve in one eye is 55% larger and in the other eye it's 65% larger. He's had several exams in the past, this is the first that a problem has been seen. Could this really be glaucoma, is there anything else that it could be?? I would really appreciate some input! Thank You!!!!

I just found out about this website,
http://kidneystonecentral.org/story/?gclid=CN3D6anKw4oCFRllgQod3gpYgA
The contents sounds interesting. I have this problem where I pee a lot when it is winter. I also pee about six times everynight. I again feel pain between the left side of my rips and myback. The pain is very excrutiating when I over eat( I like all you can eat a lot- not obese though). Right now as I am writing, I feel the pain because i have just eaten a slice of pizza. Has anybody used this book before? Do you have anything to tell me?
