What can anybody tell me about strokes?Mainly the Hemoregdehic
kind.Where there is bleeding on the brain.Where the DR operates on the brain to relieve swelling.What are some of the prognosises?
Could this be locked in syndrome. Just in the need to know

talk to the doctor first.

general health and fitness is an indicator of prognosis, not age
standard of care is an indicator (but usually ur ok in developed countries)

for recovery - the quicker is starts to happen, the better the recovery will be. if not much has happened in 3 months post stroke, not that much recovery will happen at all - very general basic rule, for which i will probably get posts about the exceptions....

the best person to ask is the doctor, he is most familar with the patient. Prognosis depends on size and location of the stroke and any complications occured, also the genreal age and condition of the person before the stroke. the healthier and more fit a person is generally the better the prognosis. I am assuming your asking about someone you care about, i wish you peace and pacience, this could be a long long road to recovery.
