if you are going to answer this question, please do it seriously.
even though she has scheduled an appt already, i still feel like i need to know something about it.

so, maybe 2 nights ago, my dad and i told her that the food was too salty, and she was like "oh really? i added lots of salt but still didn't think it was salty enough". we didn't think much about it... my mom thought maybe the cinnamon tic-tacs she ate had something to do with it.

this morning, she stuck out her tongue in front of the mirror and saw subtle (lighter) vertical stripes across the tip of her tongue. she showed it to me at dinner... and i was so freaked out and scared about her i almost cried.

so, imagine that you pressed the tip of your tongue to the spiral of a notebook... except that the indent would go outward instead...

so if you know anything about that, please tell me... or if you know where i might get some info...
(yes i kno its gross, and you dont need to repeat it again)

thank you!

I am only 32 so this is nothing to do with menopause.

My face goes beat red and starts to sweat so bad I can't put my make-up on before I leave the house in the morning. And if I have a shower it is ten times worse. Even if I use cool water and my place is cold.

I am a nut-case until it calms down. I can't find things, I can't think straight. By about a half hour after I get to work it calms down. Every once in a while it hits at other times than the mornings.

Someone told me it might be an adrenal gland thing.

I don't know anything about that, but I do have hypothyroidism and take synthroid for it. And no I am not hyperthyroid from the meds. I am in the normal range.

Does anyone else out there have a problem like this?

My vision always seems to blur and its hard to focus.

i have to lie down for a long period of time to make it go away

Hi there,
I'm 31 and have been taking Paxil CR 25 mg for just about a year now. I had anxiety disorder and don't want to be dependent on this pill any longer. I asked my doctor about weaning myself off and she told me to start taking half the dose of 12.5 mg per day for the next 30 days, and if there are no panick attacks within that period, to take 5 more 12.5 mg every second day and eventally be off of them completely. I'm into my 5th day now and I'm noticing some side affects and was wondering if these are normal and if they'll subside. I don't want to start worrying about them and therefore start panicking and then having to start from square one again. The symptoms I've noticed are 'zap-like' feelings in my head, feeling off centre because my vision is a bit off (not blurry, just stroblike somehow), sweating then really cold, very vivid dreams, and an increased appetite. Just wonering if this is normal.

I asked this question once before but really didn't get an answer that helped me. Can anyone cite an online reference for this? I read that there is a relationship between sugar and hormones and moods such as anger. Can you help?

I got it from STRESS. In my Senoir year in High School I had 2 HUGE anxiety attacks in ONE day where I had to be hospitalized both times. After that, I went through this phase where I felt like I had to "Drink water to live" and I had the WORST case of Insominia where I couldn't SLEEP for like 2 weeks. I would literally feel like a ZOMBIE.(haha right?) Well after that subsided I was constipated for like a week. Then after the constipation was over I had THE RUNS BAD FOR like two weeks. I was constantly HOT and a little less then a month later...The reflux started. First it was the inflammation of the throat, then the food coming back up.(Kind of like throwing up but not!)

Some of my symptoms are:
Food coming back up my throat.
My food isn't being broke down enough and it causes pain in my stomach.
And I have inflammation in my throat throughout the day.

^^^That's my biggest one!

What are some day to day routines I could do to eliminate these symptoms?
