1st purly overworking of that muscle or tiredness can trigger movements.

2nd repressed memories, including various stressful situations. Often twitching can be trace back to the problem that you are repressing.

fix it - by resolving the unerlying pressure, physical or mental. Dancing, swimming or yoga often help (for relaxation and better muscular control).

Alot of eyelid twitching can be caused by lack of sleep, anxiety,
or internal restlessness, that shows up in a twitch. Get rid of the cause of the nervousness, and it should go away.

There could be any number of causes from a trapped nerve to more serious reasons. Don't muck about go see your doctor and find out. If it is nothing to worry about then your mind will be put at rest and if it is more serious then you will have caught it in good time and be able to start treatment.

It's nothing to worry about. But see your doctor, in the old days, like when I had the same problem, I was prescribed Valium- it's not such a nasty drug, it' actually mainly a muscle relaxant, but don' get hooked on it!

I get the same thing when im getting tired or have stayed on Yahoo! Answers too long! take a few hours break and if it is still happening go and see your doc.

are you tired? spent too much time in front of the computer ? too much yahoo answers?

oberve and monitor.. if its acute, ( just recently) take some rest, and get some sleep. stay away fr the glare..

if not, you can get it checked out....

Mine does it too occasionally. It comes and goes. Nothing to worry about

It is just a nerve in your eye,mine does it some times to. And no it is not serious.just annoying

Seriously its stress. Have you seen it happen to Homer Simpson, very occasionaly he gets it when he's stressed.
