For the past week, I've been having a bunch of "panic attacks", waking up in the middle of the night, feeling like I can't breathe.

My mom kept saying it's a cold, but I'm always suddenly feeling dizzy. I'm on the contraceptive pill, TriNessa, and now I have arm pain in my left arm, and sudden chest pain which goes down to my stomach.

I'm going to urgent care later on today, and I'm terrified. I think it's a blood clot, my doctor told me to go to the hospital if I got any of the symptoms above.

So I have three questions.

Do you think what I have will be a blood clot?

How are blood clots treated?

Can I die from it?

Someone, PLEASE help me.

Or, am I just being paranoid?

I'm fourteen, and I don't use birth control because I'm sexually active. I use it to regulate my hormones, because my hormones cause me to have severe anxiety.

I've been reacting like this to the pills for a long time, I'm always nauseated by them.

Dont Panic! it probably isnt a blood clot because although this is a possibility it also relatively rare. mabe you have just exacerbated your own symptons because of your anxiety but it is good that you are seeking professional medical help straight away because you can never be too sure! if you are an otherwise healthy teenager , relax,. i assume your mum knows you are on the pill so talk to her, your mum isnt going to let anything bad happen to you and can be there to reassure and support you with your worries. good luck

When you hear the term no balls, it has a different meaning to each person. No balls to some people means being scared to get hurt, or do something physically courageous. To others it means being an avoider, avoiding conflict, or confrontation, or manipulating instead of confronting. Most of my trouble in life has come not from actually being an avoider, but from being a shy person, and being seen as an avoider. I don't believe people ought to find more guts, because nobody, including me, has guts all the time, every day. I'm just a guy with a bad social mistrust and discomfort, and some people see it as fear of confrontation, and as a human being, I care what they think more than I pretend to care about them.

The breathing problems may be something else. A condition called Sleep Apena, where the loose tissue in the thoat closes when you sleep, and you need to wake up to clear it out of the thoat. But with the arm pain and the chest pain, I think a trip to urgent care is not over-reacting.
I am praying for you.

WHAT?

You are only 13 and you are on birth control?

You don't have any blood clots. Get off of that TriNessa.

You might be having anxiety attacks. I don't think the pills are going to help with your anxiety. I think an antidepressant like Zoloft would be better. It is used for anxiety/panic attacks.
