I was left handed. My dad had changed me to use my right hand and now I use my right hand. In my family, me and my father's younger brother are the only people who got the left handed tendency. My uncle's (left handed) kids are all right handed from birth. My mom and dad are both right handed. My husband's family is also right handed.

About hereditary diseases, in my side , my dad's family doesnt have any particular hereditary disease, my mom's side, my grandmom is diabetic. My husband's side, his mom was diabetic and dad has triglyceride. My husband has asthma lightly. I am not a mother yet. But just wanted to know everything in advance.

I went to the doctor because i was peeing blood and after testing the blood he told me i had some puss bags. I got some meds and was told to drink alot of water but i'm not sure if it worked because i am one of those women who has to live with an infection. The doctor says it is yeast and i've been getting treatment for it for years now but it never goes away for more than a few days. I would like to know if there is a herb out there that i can try to rid myself of this .

Okay, so I recently wrote in a question about what you should do with an infected piercing. Needless to say, I did what most suggested I went to see a Doctor. He gave me antibiotics and told me to go see the piercer and to let her take it out. (Hence, TAKE IT OUT). When I went to see her, she said "NO WAY!" and that you should never take out the jewlery of an infected piercing, something about trapping in the infection... (I actually heard that you shouldn't somewhere else...) So basically my question is simple; has anyone here with or without a piercing ever heard if you should or shouldn't take out a body piercing jewlery if it's infected, or should you keep it in until it's healed??? Hope my question makes sense...
Thanks! ;)

Parts of my gum are swollen and my tongue feels like it's been burnt, it feels like it wants to come up with ulcers but never get there. I've completely lost my appetite and my throat feels swollen like somethings blocking it or strangling me.

I just don't know whether to bother the doctor or let it pass on its own as I know its caused by this flu virus I have.

What would you guys do?

I have been having kidney problems lately, stones, ect. and for about two weeks now my eyes are getting progressively worse. I don't even want to bother putting my contacts in anymore because there seems to be no difference with or without them! My eyes are so clowdy all the time and sometimes my depth of vision is affected, too! I'm just looking for opinions since seeing my regular doctor is practcally impossible, and my eye doctor appointment is a good 2 weeks away from now! Does this sudden worsening of my eyes have anything to do with my kidneys or something else? Thanks!!!

I've had a sore throat for over a week now, and the pain was just getting worse. I went to an ENT and it turns out I have a big throat ulcer. For some reason, it hurts a lot more when I first wake up every morning. Could this be because of acid reflux or something? Is acid getting into my throat while I sleep? And maybe that's what's causing the ulcer to stick around for so long? If so, what can I do to help this? I just want this throat ulcer to go away so I can go on with my life. Would it help if I just took a Zantac before I went to bed each night? Any other suggestions on what this could be or ways to treat acid reflux if that's what it is?

My left arm has been a bit numb for several weeks now and at times although not always I feel like my stride is a bit off. The stride thing could be my imagination playing tricks on me but the numbness is quite real. I just saw a news cast about Teri Garr and the fact that she has MS and she made the symptons sound somewhat the same. Although she described a pain not a numbness in her left arm.

I have a child aged 5 years and 6 months. The doctor says that he had a damage at the time of birth due to delayed supply of oxygen at the time of birth. At present he is having a physical deficiency as he cannot stand on his legs. He has squint in his right eye. His right hand is somewhat less active as compared to left one. He also experiences convulsions at irregular intervals. What should be a proper treatment for him. How we should behave with him ?
