last night, i was cutting my pubic hair (after i went pee) when i accidently cut the pink think where my pee comes out and it started bleeding. i was horrified and i got several kleenexes and soaked it with water and held it there to maybe stop the bleeding. it wasnt bleeding very much. after 4 kleenexes the bleeding stopped a lot. this morning i went to the bathroom and my mom was in there too. my mom made a face and said "whew! diana, open a window!" i hadnt gone number two, i was just peeing. so then, i got into the shower. my mom was still in the bathroom with me doing her makeup. i started to feel dizzy and nautious. i started to panic because i felt something was wrong with me. it was really difficult to breath and then everything went black for about 5 seconds, but then i opened the shower curtain and the light shone in my face and my sight came back. then i felt so dizzy that i fell on my knees in the shower and then my hearing started to go away, but it came back. whats wrong?

My hometown just had a case of bird flu in their hospital. They thought the patient had pneumonia, but found out it was bird flu. They worked around semi tires that come in from all over and suspect that's how he got it. Has it been found that it can be passed from human to human yet? Should I be worried for my family? It's a small town too!

Right now I'm a radiology technologist (I just take x-rays and assist the doctors). I feel like I want to know more than how to just take x-rays. Where can I find reading material to expand my knowledge?

I have had 2 MRI's that have found nothing, and tried 3 different migraine medications that have done absoluely nothing. I have gotten some relief from accupuncture, but it is not covered by my insurance and is expensive! The pressure is there from the moment I wake up and never ever goes away and it is driving me crazy. I have two small children to take care of. What do I do? How do I live this way? My doctor insists there is nothing wrong with me and keeps shoving drugs at me. I know I should be grateful that they have not found cancer or something serious - but I just don't know how to keep smiling and pretending I'm ok anymore. Does anyone out there have any ideas? I'd be grateful for any leads to follow...anything at all. (I even had all my wisdom teeth pulled just because someone suggested it might help! It didn't! Oh, well.)

He is the son of a distant relative and I rarely see them, and barely know them, so I can't decide what to get him as I have already selected a present for his younger (normal) brother .

I was wondering if plain film x-rays can pick up all solid masses. If one feels a rock-hard mass, but a plain film x-ray fails to detect it, does that indicate it's not a truly hard, solid mass?

I know soft tissue and fluid-filled masses aren't, but what about masses that are rock-hard-palpable?

Would to like to hear oppinions on why some people believe Austim is related to routine childhood vaccinations. I have identical twin boys who have had the same vaccines in the same enviroment, and have ate the same foods (bc I have heard also there is a theory about chemicals used to preserve food contributing to Autism). The first born twin has high-fuctioning Asperger's Syndrome, and the second born does not have any form of Autism. Based on this experience I don't believe Vaccines had anything to do with this. If I had to venture a guess for the cause I would say that it may be an area of his brain did not develop correctly. Anyway, would love to hear oppinions on this subject, what you believe might be a cause of Autism, or other reasons why you may choose to not vaccinate your child. Thanks.

Lately I've been going to sleep at around 12am, and I'm still 14. I don't know if it's stress or something, but it's definately not caffiene. I only drink that stuff with my tea in the morning. I was thinking about seeing a doctor, but would it be better if I saw like a head doc like a psychologist? I need some advice on what kind of help I should get to solve this problem
