I think county hospitals have to treat you even if you don't have insurance. Walk in the ER. Then for the future, look into ways to get insurance. If your employer doesn't offer any, social services can tell you about options. But remember, those "free" insurance options aren't free to taxpayers.

Cakes: I have no idea where you live, what State, this makes it tough. Go to the County Medicaid office, usually with the County health department in the county seat. You'll find an officer there, really a Representative that should take care of you. How old are you? another question. If your an older person seek help from Social Security Insurance or Social Security. It's really the same. If it's a debilitating illness and your going to be laid up or handicapped then the Social Security will take care of you. They both have a lot of paper work to do but, if you have immediate needs there very good, see them and don't hold back.

In an extreme emergency go to the ER of the hospital, they'll take over from there and have someone from County come down to see you. Worry about paper work later, time to heal now.

You go to a county clinic or hospital. Google it or look into a directory to find the phone number for your local county health service provider. They can direct you to a place that will provide medical attention if you don't have insurance.
If you have a hard time with this, let me know which city you live in and I'll help you find a facility. There are places that will help you. Don't ignore your problem.
