she has CHF, diabetes, cirhosis of the liver, shes 80, and she cant live on pain killers. What can be done to ease her pain. please someone???????

For the gout, no nuts, no alcohol for sure and limit red meat. My step dad is 75 and has it very badly very often.

He drinks cherry juice and eats cherries which is supposed to help. Also, consult your nearest health store for natural herbal rubs and oils that will help. Don't forget to explain her WHOLE health situation. They will have ideas there that her Dr. may not acknowledge.

I was told by a friend that black cherries help it clear up. My husband is trying it and it does help him a little bit.
