my docter prescribed me a med and i feel like it was a fake

Hi, I've had vertigo for the last year and a half & its still as bad as ever... Worse even these last few weeks.
I've had MRI scans (clear thank goodness) and tests & apparently there's nothing wrong with my ears.
I have no meds at the mo & doc sez it'll either go away or I'll get used to it but that could take up to 5 years. Life is becomming very difficult & I feel like no-one believes me! I look drunk most of the time & I'm at my desk at work right now feeling like I'm about to fall off my chair! Anyone else ever feel like this or anyone got any helpful advice? Thanks.

severe abominal pain (different than with IBS). My primary doc can not find a cause, says no hernia and no cut, scratch, etc inside naval. The worse the pain, the more it bleeds. I am at my wits end, I can't take the pain and discomfort any longer. What type of specialist should I see? Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I get the wierdest migraines... it starts out as a whitish half circle that is in my vision, like a really bad blind spot.. as soon as this goes away (usually within a half an hour) i get a pounding dense headache. Sometimes it is accompanied by a really weird smell, that really isnt there. I have had these for about for about 8 years. I have been told they are called migraines with auras, and i have heard it called something else but i forgot the name. If any one else has these please let me know about it! If anyone can tell me what exactly is going on, please help?! I have tried to research it on the internet but i dont really get anywhere. HELP!

Parent diagnosed with a rare illness, not very familiar with specialist in my area. I had a colonoscopy yesterday because the medication they were treating my "IBS" for wasn't helping and they weren't really sure what was wrong with me. I was basically losing anything I would eat and had lost about 30lbs over the last 3 months. I guess the procedure went fine except he took 6 biopsy's of areas to check for types of colitis that the naked eye can't see. I'm feeling really uneasy about getting a phone call saying it is cancer or something bad like that (my uncle has had colon cancer), when I know that's probably not the case. Has anyone heard of this before? I just can't seem to accept that it went "fine", but yet they took 6 samples, lol. Thanks for any input

Recently, I've discovered that when I eat sugar, my depression goes away (I have depression problems). Does this mean I should eat more sugar, or what? What's causing this? Can sugar cure my depression?

I have heard that many drug companies make addictive drugs that dont fully cure the illness so they get the most money out of you. If you know any specific incidents or experience with that, then please share. Also if you can point out places for good research then please do so. Thankyou

I have been throughly checked by several doctors including vascular specialist.My bloodpressure is noral my heart beat perfect no signs or symptoms of anything sinister going on.I have even checked with cardiologist and head medcial proffessionals.All say benign ,live with it.I can hear ever beat of my heart just like I had a stepthoscope on with every off sound or miss beat perfectly heard.it comes and goes but its always around in the background.Sometimes It booms and sometimes its very faint but its there all day long and subsides mostly at night when i prop up just right on my pillow.It has to do with something about losing weight around my ear drum allowing me to hear my heart beat more pronounced and also about the eusticain tube not opeing or closing just right.Its seems to be worse when subject to the heat from heating unit.Its seems to release whatever is in my head and stop my ears up m aking it worse.Does anyone know how to live with this .Its making me a hypocondriac.
