I have heard that many drug companies make addictive drugs that dont fully cure the illness so they get the most money out of you. If you know any specific incidents or experience with that, then please share. Also if you can point out places for good research then please do so. Thankyou

If there were only one or two drug companies that might hold water. As it is there are too many companies competing to treat diseases. Whichever one comes up with an actual cure for a disease corners the market on treating it until someone else comes up with a cure that's faster or safer or cheaper.

And if the drug companies had as much of a stranglehold of control on things as you seem to think they do, we'd never see generics or OCT drugs come on the market - they'd be obsolete before they hit the shelves.

Drug companies make drugs to make money from the drugs. If they cure or help an illness so much the better.

THERE IS A BOOK CALLED NATURE CURES, WHAT DRUG COMPANIES DO NT WANT YOU TO KNOW. THE MONEY FROM THE BOOK GOES TO NATURAL CURES RESEARCH WHICH THE AUTHOR HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH. IT HAS A LOT OF FACTS IN THERE READ IT AND COME TO YOUR OWN CONCLUSION. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT CONTRIBUTE MONEY FOR NATURAL CURES. JUST THINK HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD BE OUT OF WORK IF THEY FOUND ONE CURE SAY JUST FOR ARTHRITIS. DRUG COMPANIES JUST WANT TO CURE THE SYMPTOMS NOT THE PROBLEM.

Drug companies manufacture drugs to make money. That's their business. They do not deliberately manufacture addictive drugs to increase business. That is a violation of the Safe Food and Drug Act and such drugs would not pass the FDA's "safe and effective" requirement for drugs, for which new drugs go through years of testing before they are permitted to be sold in the U.S.

imho,it is a scam.if the drug companies had the cures for illness's they would be out of business.less people would need the drugs because they would be cured.i also believe that many diseases have cures and the public is not informed.

Many diseases can't be 'cured'.........just controlled (i.e. diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemias, post-MI, chronic pain etc.)

The drugs don't sell if they don't work.
