Considering what you know about abnormal spinal curvatures and about the thoracic cavity, what risks would you expect a physician to outline for the parents of this child?

I am an exploratory teacher, and I like to ask the questions on here before asking my students! So any and every one help me with my studies.

It feels like I am going round in circles. I don't actually drink that much - between 1-3 times a week, and usually the equvilent to about 8 pints at a time. I rarely drink in the morning, its usually after 2pm. I drink alone once a week or so, but more times its when I'm down the pub. I have trouble stopping once I've had that first drink. I do get bad cravings, right now I feel like I need a drink. Most of the time I can ignore the craving, but I'm struggling to go any more than 3 days without a drink. In the past, I have managed 14 weeks with a drink. My mum is a recovering alcoholic, so I don't know wether I've just inherited the genetic tendency towards alcoholism or if I'm making a big fuss cos I'm more aware of it in general. I cant go to AA meetings as my overprotective husband doesn't think I have a problem. I go through phases of heavy drinking, usually when I'm depressed (got diagnosed with depression 6 years ago after I got raped).
How can I tell if I need to stop?

I know what it is and I don't have it, a family member does, I was just wondering where (like websites) that I could find useful information. Don't tell me to google it or put it into a search engine because I've done that.

I am 24 years old and the first time I recall experiencing this pain was when I was 13 or 14 years old. Back then, the Dr. thought I had Kidney stones, but I never passed any and he even admitted me to the hospital for 2 days to observe me. Since then, I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain in my right side from my ribs to my hips and it goes around me from my belly button to my spine. Sometimes the pain lasts just a few hours, other times it lasts a few weeks. It is so severe that it makes me sick to my stomach and unable to hold any food in my system because eating just seems to make the pain worst. I have had ultra sounds, xrays, urine samples, blood work tests and more tests done but the only thing that has come back it I have hight cholesterol, Gout and a low vitamin B12 level. I am on shots for the B-12 but I don't believe I have gout as Gout typically attacks your big toe before any other part of your body. What do you think & what would u do?

I know that SADS is a condition related to lack of sunlight, ( my brother has it severely) I ocassionally have a few days, when I seem to get it. We've had so many gray days this fall, and it's knocking the socks off me!
Do you ever suffer any symptoms from the extended lack of the sun? If so, in what way?

My husband suffers from epilepsy that may be caused by brain damage or has brain damage from seizures. He attacked me one night in front of our 3 year old son. It was truly out of the blue and over nothing - we had not been arguing. I asked him to get the pizza out of the oven and he jumped up cussing and charged me, swinging. He wouldn't let me out of the house. I had to beg. He has had episodes like this in the past, but usually after a seizure and directed at other people. One time it took 2 police officers and 2 emt's to tie him to a gurney because he was fighting them. I am afraid for my son and myself and have left him, though love him deeply when he's not like this. In counseling, I've realized there have been control issues : i.e. telling me how to dress, quizzing me on where I've been, etc. He kept justifying what happened until he got my divorce papers, now he's seeking counseling and I don't know what to do. I can't blame him for medical, but can't go back in fear
