This can be caused by many different reasons. Alcohol is a blood thinner. Therefore you can bleed easy. The thinned blood last for a while not just a day.

Any other blood thinners, asprin. Even taking fish oil or Q-10 vitamins causes extra bruising.

You may also be anemic.

If any of the above apply then make changes. If not go see your doc to check your blood count.

The black bruises can be due to some medical problem and should not be taken lightly. The common causes can be due to some clotting problem of blood or deficiency of some vitamins like vitamin C etc.The other causes can be some skin problem or some allergy. You get your blood tested for bleeding time and clotting time and also consult some skin specialist.Hope it will solve your problem.best of luck.

Along with your other question, I would definately recommend a doctor. You may have a serious problem with your liver, if you are a drinker. Go ASAP to a doctor to check your symptoms and NOT depend on answers here!

Frankly, I would see your doctor. Although there are a number of things that might be causing it, the quickest way to a safe diagnosis is a medical professional.

Describe diet and activity, answer all the questions honestly and you should end up with a quick solution.

And if its something serious - you can get treatment.
