It can happen even with a glass of water, and I feel my throat by the windpipe seize up - it goes to swallow it, then locks. I tend to have to spit it out, can't even swallow saliva until it clears, and eventually the passage releases, and whatever was there either goes down, or has to come up. Last time it froze, was shut for hours, and couldn't eat or drink, hard to breathe. Any ideas? Tried Dr's / Barium meals etc...

my boyfriend's doctor just called and told him he needed to come back into the office because his blood test results had showed "high thyroid levels". he had gone in to do standard blood screening for an annual physical. they would not give him any other information about what that means or what he should expect during his next doctor visit. can anyone give us any guidance?

Have had CT and MRI with contrast and normal. Seen Opthomologist and Neurologist and they don't know, had eyes tested 3 times and all norm. My doctor thinks its depression, l know l have depression but l have suffered depression longer than symptoms. Symptoms are like a blur with lightning strikes constantly. Have headaches sometimes but they go away, and flashes remain. All the time even when l close my eyes l can see them. No one will listen what else can l do to convince them this is real.

I've asked her plenty of times to tell me what it feels like and what i should do with some of her sysptoms, but it's hard for me to understand cuz sometimes she can't tell me becuase she's in pain or very tired. Then she takes medicine and really falls asleep. I'm not used to being with anyone that has MS and I just wanted to see if anyone would give me some advice.

i started feeling dizzy a couple of years ago (almost constantly), i then had a migrane (my first) which caused vertigo. which after seeing the doctor, cleared up. i went back again and was given some medicine for the dizziness and was told i had high pressure in my right ear (even though i've only once had ear ache more than 10 years ago). the medicine worked for a while (even though i was only allowed to take it when it was at it's worst)

now nothing shifts it, i feel constantly unwell as if have cotton wool in my head (which i did explain to the doctor at the time). i get headaches more than i used to (i was lucky if i had one a month). It gets worse before, during and a few days after mensruating. it sometimes causes a strange sweating feeling where i'm not actually hot or sweating but it feels as if i am. i know i don't have high blood pressure

I don't think this is caused by my ear anymore, what is causing this? i want to feel human again.

In 2004 I had sinus surgery because of sinus infections. When I had a infection, my face would swell. Now 2 years later, my face still swells and it is not a infection. It happens atleast 4-5 times a week. I have been to a ENT, nothing wrong with sinuses. I have a HA almost every day. They range from 3-10. My right pulpil is now dilated. I have occ. blurred vission. I have ear pain on the affected side of swelling. Light headness on and off . left eye drooping. Right side mouth drooping. I have been having memory loss, especially short term. Eye MD found no problems. Neurology, something is wrong but they don't know what it is.
CAT scan with dye normal. MRI with dye normal. No one knows how to help me. I am tired of taking medications all the time. Does any one have any ideas?
