Osteonecrosis = bone death literally.

It is usually limited to one boney area, like a knee, or the head of the fibula etc. The cure is surgery if it is caused by lack of circulation to the area. Blood brings nutrients and carries away toxins so if for some reason the blood vessels aren't reaching that area of bone it begins to die. If it was caused by infection then usually it is treated with antibiotics. Once the infection is gone the bone may heal itself or you may need surgery to clean out the dead bits of bone.

Not sure why you are looking for a ''cure'', it is looking for a treatment that you need. Sometimes it is caused by sickle cell anemia (african americans) and that is a problem.

So you need to figure out what caused your bone to die, and then the MDs can help you fix it.

Good luck.
