i started feeling dizzy a couple of years ago (almost constantly), i then had a migrane (my first) which caused vertigo. which after seeing the doctor, cleared up. i went back again and was given some medicine for the dizziness and was told i had high pressure in my right ear (even though i've only once had ear ache more than 10 years ago). the medicine worked for a while (even though i was only allowed to take it when it was at it's worst)

now nothing shifts it, i feel constantly unwell as if have cotton wool in my head (which i did explain to the doctor at the time). i get headaches more than i used to (i was lucky if i had one a month). It gets worse before, during and a few days after mensruating. it sometimes causes a strange sweating feeling where i'm not actually hot or sweating but it feels as if i am. i know i don't have high blood pressure

I don't think this is caused by my ear anymore, what is causing this? i want to feel human again.

I suggest that you see an ear, nose and throat specialist. My husband described feeling "dizzy" for 9 years. Finally after seeing numerous specialists he was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma which is a non-cancerous tumor which grows in the balance nerve. Do not give up. Keep pushing for answers to your medical problem.

It does sound alot like Menears. My mom has suffered with that for years. I would recommend you see an Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor. Maybe your reg. Dr. can tell ya. My mom would get so dizzy, she had fallen a few times. The Dr. did get her on meds. to control it. Now she hardly has an episode. Have your blood sugar checked, and your blood pressure. Good luck to ya!!

I have had that happen to me on and off for years and I try to link it to some cause by writing down everything I ate, drank and did before it happened. Since I have had my thyroid checked it has gotten better. I had a enlarged thyroid which may or may not have effected my dizzy spells. I also get them related to my periods. it might just be that during that time you need to really watch what you do becuase your body may be hyper sensitive during that time. Not having enough fluids or sleep can also effect it.

I'm not sure but I don't think the migraine caused the vertigo. Vertigo can occur on its own...and it is sickening! I hope you can find something that helps.
