Have had CT and MRI with contrast and normal. Seen Opthomologist and Neurologist and they don't know, had eyes tested 3 times and all norm. My doctor thinks its depression, l know l have depression but l have suffered depression longer than symptoms. Symptoms are like a blur with lightning strikes constantly. Have headaches sometimes but they go away, and flashes remain. All the time even when l close my eyes l can see them. No one will listen what else can l do to convince them this is real.

Stay away from drugs, even over the counter, such as Advil or Aleve, these cause bleeding, even in the eyes. Change your diet to organic. Take Niacin, 500mg, B-6 100mg, & folic acid 800mcg. You might want to have a carotid artery scan done. If you have migraine headaches, make sure you take Thiamin. Don't smoke. Find a holistic practioner.

definitely see a neuro-ophthalmologist. Not terribly surprising that the MR and CT were normal. Sounds like a migraine variant. good luck.

Sounds like migraine auras but mine go away. I can see them when I close my eyes and it reminds me of when I have had a camera flash in my eyes.
