The rash is better, but the pain on my forehead and temple comes and goes--very uncomfortable. The pain clinic doctor put me on 10 mg. Amitriptyline at bedtime 2 days ago, and both nights I've wakened with terrible itching around my eye and on my head and scalp. My icebag is my source of pain relief and believe me the itching is painful! This morning the itching is 'hanging on' and I have moments of really bad itching and then it gets better, I've had to use ice once. I just took Tylenol and 1/2 a Xanax (5 mg.). It's better at the moment. Could this be a side effect of the new medication? If so, why would I just itch where the shingles has attacked and not all over? It's on the right side of my face. I take Lyrica too. I am better except for this ongoing pain and now the itching. Any suggestions or comments--please!! thanks

I HAVE ALS. IT IS REAL NASTY AS FAR AS BECOMING TOTALLY DEPENDANT ON OTHER PEOPLE. I LOVE LIFE HOWEVER NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF MY FAMALIES EMOTIONAL,PHYSICAL & FINANCIAL WELL BEING.THE QUESTION ISN'T IF I AM GONNA DIE , BUT HOW WHEN . JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE CAN BE KEPT "MEDICALLY" ALIVE, IS TRULLY LIVING?

(I was constipated one AM - then at 7pm that evening---started passing blood; felt like diarhea--THEN --but would only be blood & it was every 2 or 3 hrs - yet felt like diarrhea every incident; THE BLEEDING COMPLETLY STOPPED EARLY NEXT MORN. ---then I had big stool that looked real dark --like it could have been dark DRIED ? BLOOD BUT I NOT SURE. - J--ONLY ONE OCCASION of constipation since then - nearly 3 weeks. I want to back out of having Colonscopy, but then what if the bleeding re-curs---then i'm afraid the Specialist would not SEE me again ? I was under the impression that sepsis meant the proliferation of bacteria in the blood stream however now I'm confused and am wondering if septicemia is just a larger umbrella term for pathogens in the blood whereas bacteremia is specific to bacteria in the blood.

Can anyone clarify this? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm suffering from pain all over my body and the doctor said it could be fibromyalgia. I don't like tradicional drugs products, so I am looking for a natural one.
