It can be very pricey...Hon, I hope everything is OK. My husband had to have a kidney transplant a few years ago at the age of 22. Luckily, we had insurance because I worked. I still fundraised to to have money so we could go to to another city to have it done and keep our bills paid, and keep our house so I could be off work for a month and a half. Good luck, Hon.

over $100,000 plus the overwhelming cost of all the anti-rejection meds that are needed so the body will not reject the transplant. If the person has insurance he or she can deal with it if not try getting on the medicare and medicaid program otherwise the cost will be life itself

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!
This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.
It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
